If you aren't hearing anything about the ending of AMC as we know it, it's really out of shock. I am also trying to allow PP to have the moment to contact all the actors and explain what is and has been going on with AMC, and then gather themselves to try and explain it all to you, the fans.

I can confirm what Debbie Morgan has shared already, that we were given assurances that we would be continuing with the series and then were very recently contacted and told that, with great regret, AMC won't be going back online this year, or in this particular incarnation. Certainly hope springs eternal that we will yet again, spring from the dead.

I do feel confident in sharing my opinion that PP and all "the powers that be" involved in making AMC and OLTL truly loved the shows and did their utmost to make continuing them possible. The premiere in NYC was one of the most exciting moments I have had the privilege to be a part of in my career. I am not privy to the behind the scenes decisions, however. Like you, I can only experience those choices second hand and guess at the reasons why this is happening now.

Instead of going into the "What Went Wrong" question, I think I'd rather focus on the gratitude I feel for having been asked to continue with the show. If I am still wanted as an actor on daytime, it is all because of YOU, the FANS.

I am so very grateful for your support. To have had the opportunity to be a part of an innovative experience that strived to keep American soaps alive via a new medium, to be a part of the continuing fabric of your lives through daytime storytelling, and to be able to work with dear friends who I've known all my life was a very special experience for which I have you to thank.

So THANK YOU for all the cheering, love, and support, daytime family. You've been AWESOME.

All Im gonna say is that I wont be shocked one bit if AMC & OLTL are back in the ABC orbit again. Now will that mean ABC Daytime, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year maybe not. Maybe on ABC family as two weekly seasonal soaps. I could see it happening.

Why would abc ever bring back two expensive shows that were losing them money? Makes zero sense. Once a show is cancelled a show never brings it back really. Abc is very happy with their daytime lineup and doesnt regret a second of cancelling shows in fact if u asked abc execs they would say it was best thing for their pocket book. A company is always in the business of making money.

GH is doing very well for abc. They can afford one soap with a cheap show aka the chew which is doing stellar. It doesn't mean because GH is doing do well for abc they are interested in putting in tons of money to bring back Amc and oltl, abc has never regretted a single second cancelling the shows they have more cash now then they did in 2011. They were in a horrible deficit with Amc.

GH is staying big time it's ratings have been stellar. Plus it shows the chew shoots big time half hour to half hour due to GH after it. Eric I don't have to spell out anymore. Here in life I am a business all I wanna do is make a profit. When my profits exceed my costs I am a happy camper. When costs exceed profits it's a loss for the company and a loser. How easy is that explanation? I have taken enough business and economics classes to know. So GH right now is making abc tons of money in profits lol so u mean it goes? LMAO

Greetings all, well I finally got the official call, saying PP is not going forward with AMC "at this time", left the door open a crack, hmmm! As disappointing as that news is, it was not a surprise. Just as they did the first time, PP chose to remain silent regarding their activities, and now that I've had some experience with them, I do believe that it was because Jeff just kept on beating the bushes trying to raise the money, never willing to cry uncle. I am sad for all of us, from Jeff to all of you, but gosh I'm grateful for the chance we had to make something new and wonderful from our beloved shows. Maybe when more fans are computer-savvy, and go online for content as a regular habit, investors will feel comfortable putting money into what was a grand experiment, perhaps ahead of its time, and only time will tell. Take care of yourselves, my lovelies, sending love to you all! Jill Larson
