Members Darn
You know what, you can't have the shows back on TV AND all the smart people. It's not fair!
Members EricMontreal22
Though there is some bitching from Canadians too because FX Canada *is* on basic cable which means you have to pay (a minor fee compared to premium cable.)
Members ~bl~
I can understand the complaints if they were in an area where FX Canada was moving tiers. (I know someone who told me that FX Canada had been on a cheaper cable tier and was moving to a more expensive one. Then just a day or two ago she said that it wasn't moving after all, the cable company changed its mind. This just happened since the announcement of AMC & OLTL being on FX Canada -- the switch and then switch back...)

Members Khan
What was wrong with that particular opening, exactly? Not that I'm saying I preferred it, but I am curious as to why others did not. ICAM.
Members cassadine1991
i loved the Satin Sheets opening.. I'd welcome it again, especially it seems like it matches the description of the new OLTL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvP11_wbuG4
Members Khan
Me: "Life's a bitch, ain't it?" Seriously. Just confirm their worst fears and see what happens.
Members EricMontreal22
I wasn't aware of that--here, as mentioned by me, the HD feed (which I now have) is on a higher tier but not the non-HD. FXCanada doesn't really have enough original material yet to do that IMHO--but it would be interesting if the cable provider thought about moving it due to AMC/OLTL. I do know one provider (I believe Bell) still doesn't carry FXCanada, so people covered by them have a more legit complaint.

Members EricMontreal22
People called it the softcore porn opening. I loved it myself... lol
Members Darn
I think you tend to love the first opening you can consciously remember. And I loved the opening too, it just meant to me "OLTL is on now!". Looking at it as an adult I'm like "Uhhhh...". But honestly, it was of it's time. It looks like half the music videos that were on MTV/BET in the early 90s.
Members cassadine1991
some also called it the rape opening.. I loved it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=kWDJH2nlPgY
Members Khan
In retrospect, I think the only thing I enjoy about that sequence is the music. The rest belongs in a Visine commercial.
