With the AMC cast photo, I think it looks better with the top portion of the photo cropped, but the OLTL photo has definitely more pop and depth with the top portion showing.

Always keep an eye on Shenaz Treasury's Instagram. She stays busy. Here, she seems to be indicating that Rama is now working for Blair at Shelter.

Vee, are you trying to slay me? I can't have that much Shenaz in my face, I might pass out.

Seeing those photos of her and Terri are making me so grateful Aubrey isn't back. Lordy.

You know if Ron and Frank were on the beat Austin Peck would be back in the house. He was funny for about ten minutes but a little of him went a long way.

Oh god, I had forgotten all about him. I didn't mind him either but yeah, a little goes a long way. But the same can be said for Tuc Watkins, too.

I wonder if there's going to be a major event happening at Shelter

LOL. I kind of enjoyed Austin Peck on OLTL! So sleazy.

Wouldn't mind if him & that folder came back for an appearance/sequel ;-P

I know they're trying to be edgy, but I'm not sure if we need another story about the hilarity of people being forced into porn.

I'm feeling a little overload from all this "Shelter" stuff (does everyone work or go there?), but I have no issue with any of the guest or recurring casting, and I love how much the cast continues to bond. I'm guessing they shoot by set, that's why there's been so much "Shelter" stuff this week.

I hope the sweatshop 16-hour days are over. That is not a sustainable working schedule. Glad the actors and production have been such troopers though.

I'm not surprised at the long hours, as when soaps had larger budgets people would be on set for 12 hour days regularly. Sometimes for big events, they'd be working until 2-3 am. I just hope for the sake of the crew (some of whom are doing both shows) that they go back to more manageable chunks.

From Tracy Casper Lang:

OLTL will not be shooting tomorrow, I assume because of some union rule about Good Friday. So today was my "Friday," coming home as if it's been a whole week of work. I'm sure that will play tricks on my body clock for days, but it does allow me to reflect on Week 2 of OLTL a day early, so here goes--

1. There's nothing that can compare with a good soap character scene--not crowds, not celebrities, not fancy stunts and effects--and I am happy to report that there will be plenty of those character scenes (right alongside the fancy stuff) on this new One Life to Live.

2. Yay for catered food that gives enough choices to make observing Passover guidelines not hard at all.

3. It is amazing how the body hangs in for what it needs to--if tomorrow were a work day, I would be raring to go, but since it's not, my body has hit weekend mode already!

4. There's nothing like being largely home for a year to make you learn more about what makes you tick and what makes you happy. The trick is to remember to listen to what you've learned over that year.

5. Week 3 (and 30-some more) are just around the corner, so I'd best make the most of this three day weekend.

And thus ends OLTL Week 2--nothing profound, perhaps, just another week of a lot of people happily at work. Tune in tomorrow...
