They all seem happy. They just have less social media/blog users like Jill Larson and Cady McClain or Debbi Morgan, who were all very active. I expect we may get more after tomorrow, with the end of the week.

A rare agreement here. ES praised HBS and RSW for running lines with him and prepping for their scenes together. He said that saved him because they didn't get any rehearsal just threw you to sink or swim into taping. KM praised Flo and Trevor for meeting with her and working on her acting before scenes. But someone like SE didn't seem to have any mentor and the lack of rehearsals really showed up in her emotional scenes.

I'm really glad to hear PP understands rehearsals are important especially when you have newbies to daytime or acting. The vets mentoring is great but its not available to everyone.

What I was told a couple years ago is that they did work to try to bring Shenell up a few levels. I think she improved only marginally. She became able to do some emotional scenes but her delivery remained very stilted and artificial most of the time.

For as much as people dog on Andrew T - who was absolutely unwatchable in his first six months or so - I think he did improve a bit over time, in a much shorter timeframe than SE. He worked with Howarth, KDP, TSJ and FL and I thought they brought him up a bit. He worked best with adults. I also thought working with Austin Williams helped him, not at first (which was awful) but in the later material where Shane was just hammering him about Gigi's "death." Then again, those scenes only required him to be what he actually was offscreen - a scared kid.

The bottom line is that I think rehearsal benefits these kids. The ABC production was a meat grinder. Even if a new player does have a spark of talent, if they can't quickly acclimate to that grind they will not be able to evolve. It happened with many, many actors of all ages. And that's why the rehearsal is so important, as opposed to these veteran actors doing the best they can with the kids in virtually no time. I remember when I thought FL and Tim Stickney did a lot with Erika Page, or how David Fumero came out of his shell with Erin, with Patricia Mauceri and Melissa Archer and KDP, or how Eddie Alderson went from being a zombie for the first...six or seven years on the show and then suddenly became a walking, talking actor seemingly overnight, the strongest young male player on the show IMO. The process didn't have to take that long.

No, you foul malcontent, it was me! I am the one crying! It is a visual gag!

But I should've known better than to follow a quote from KDP with someone singing. I love her but I'm tired of her singing too.

I do kinda love they're vague on the GH stuff. It leaves it open either way. I also kinda love they're dismissing Tomas. I like Ted King but Tomas wasn't that great of a character.

Very good answers by Kassie. Very candid and we finally get some actual "scoops"
