Well soaps have helped many actors become better

Most of the time, though, those actors had something to work with from the get. You can't work with someone whose eyes look as dead as a squirrel in the middle of the road.

Look, I'm sure Daniel Covin is as sweet as pie and a perfect gentlemen. But you can tell the only thing he has going on "upstairs" is a hamster on a wheel. I don't need every actor to be a member of Mensa, but I DO need 'em to have a smattering of intelligence.

I've always thought Zac Conroy/Adam Gregory (two woefully underused actors from B&B )would make a great slightly-aged Hunter to tangle with Colby/Pete.

On second thought: Daniel Covin is fantastic and AMC should sign him to a long-term contract ASAP.

What's a good soap without brainless himbo's whose only purpose is to stare and take off their shirts? It's a long-standing tradition. ;)

If Hunter were being played by a young VI, then I could buy him as the HS bad boy. DC is cute in a nerdy way, not in a dangerous and sexy way!

Since when? I seem to recall days when soaps had great-looking guys who had abs and talent.

Right!! Tom Cuddahy was AWEFUL in the last scene of the episode were he found out about Erica's pills!!! But as the years progressed he became pretty good. Same goes with half of the actors on soaps!!

I found that funny but I am still on John's side.

Yes, Kim Delaney first job out of high school was All My Children. MEK was also a young unknown actor too when he got hired on AMC. So I agree with this. Agnes Nixon loves to bring in fresh faces and letting them grow and thrive.

The actor playing Hunter is awful and if they want to expand the role and keep him around, he needs to be recast with someone who isn't so wooden

Oh, no, we must [echo] give him time [/echo]. :P
