January 29, 201313 yr Member Are you sure this isn't just Luke using pieces of the Ice Princess to sell off, like Guza had him do every time Luke went whoring?
January 29, 201313 yr Member I doubt it. I think there's something a lot bigger in mind. Guza's bit with Luke shaving off pieces off the Princess was inspired as a throwaway gag but got real old over time.
January 29, 201313 yr Member Didn't McTavish already pay tribute to this at GH and the reaction was not... strong?
January 29, 201313 yr Member Didn't McTavish already pay tribute to this at GH and the reaction was not... strong? Yes! Like I meantioned Endgame and this will probably be worse written.
January 29, 201313 yr Member That was 12 years ago and not this anniversary. And McTavish's "Endgame" was dreadful. Nothing could be worse. Nor should that crap be the final word on those concepts and characters.
January 29, 201313 yr Member Sorry Frequent, I missed your mention. I know it was regarded as terrible--I guess, while personally I'm not against the Cassadines returning, if this is a full on Ice Princess retread the way RC paid homage to the waterfall and time travel stories on OLTL for their anniversary, I don't have much hope. However, for me it doesn't make a huge difference if t's done on an anniversary or not. (Speaking of weird past stories, has RC done any winks at the Casey the Alien story? Hardly when GH was its ratings peak, but it just seems like it's gonna happen...) Edited January 29, 201313 yr by EricMontreal22
January 29, 201313 yr Member Tony Geary pitched Endgame, McTavish just executed it from his already atrocious story document (though she apparently changed quite a bit of it). Edited January 29, 201313 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
January 29, 201313 yr Member Endgame was also rewritten and how it turned out was not how it was originally planned due to the 911 attacks. I thought the biotoxin stuff last summer was the tribute to the Ice Princess. I didnt realize there was still plans to go there
