First time I saw Gibson was in the movie Love and Human Remains (he played a gay character). I think it came out in the 90's. Good movie, kind of twisty about relationships and murder. Sorry to hear about the DUI.

In real cities we pay for our cabs by card, Eric.

He was very cute on Dynasty ... but I think he eventually hooked up with Claudia! sad.png

No, he was always gay, I think. He then met the tragic gay quota by dying in Moldavia, because apparently mass gunfire only kills queers and bad actresses.

Umm the first PBS miniseries (which got them in a lot of trouble due to the male nudity and gay action--and which is why Showtime aired the subsequent ones) was 1993... I assume that was post ATWT? (His wife was played by Barbara Garrick of OLTL and GL/ATWT fame) I'm surprised you've never seen it. He hooks up with Billy Campbell in a bathouse

Oh my goodness, I remember watching the original Tales of the City production on PBS! I was a tweenager (we used to be called adolescents back then) so, I kind of had to sneak and watch it (lol). Irrespective of the Reagan years, PBS was like pay dirt in the late 80s/early 90s. I can remember seeing lots of foreign films with nudity and simulated sex scenes on that channel! And all in the name of art. Quite an awakening to a bookish tweenage/teenage girl.

Ha I was 13 when City aired--I remember flipping through PBS and seeing twomen inbed and I was hooked, but I kinda watched it and other things secretly on PBS. But yeah PBS used to be much more compelling then--lots more filmed theatre, etc, as well--theytook more risks. Now it tends to largely beinformation shows (lectures on health, etc) and safe arts programming like Josh Grobin concerts...

He was and always thought of him as a twink back then....lol

Iknow it's been said that often he wasn't taken serious because of his pretty boy looks--when given great material like on Once and Again he did show he had talent (of course that show had a rear nude shot of him back when ABC was experimenting with that...)

I'm assuming he is referring to Ali McGraw?? Her character and Blake were just awful together and her flirting with Blake was gag worthy.

Yes. As Chris Schemering said, she went to the Great Acting Class in the Sky.
