The answer to my favorite TV show in my seventh grade yearbook was One Life to Live.

I think I kind of wanted that Starr doll that Shop the Soaps sold back then. Granted, I was 13, but I thought it was cool.

There was a Starr doll?!

I still remember Cheap's clip of M&G after Al's death in the church from years ago, when she shared it with me and other M&G fans on another soap board!

I also remember being super happy when we each got our own M&G avatars with our names on them, with screencaps from those scenes smile.png.

It's a good thing I didn't know/didn't realise there were soap boards back when I was younger. I would have been insane on them.

Briefly. ABC had this gimmick called Shop the Soaps in about 2002, where things you saw on ABC soaps were put up for sale. The doll was featured in an episode Blair had a Starr doll made for her (which...weird, but I guess marketing wins sometimes! laugh.png )

There was actually a Todd doll briefly too, complete with scar, but that was pulled quickly for fairly obvious reasons.

The OLTL theme from the 80s was both my alarm clock AND my ringtone for a bit. The alarm clock was not always successful in waking

me up, but then again, I have this problem with other alarm clocks, too laugh.png .

Oh see, I was back in Australia by that time dry.png so I missed that. I would have wanted a Starr doll back then too.

After elementary school I was offered a scholarship to a private Jr High. At the interview we were asked three questions--when I answered All MyChildren for fave tv show the interviewee looked horrified. I didn't get in.

Awwww, LOL.

Were your parents mad?

Ha my dad was mad initially when we wentover the questions and I said I'd say AMC. I dunno what they were hoping for as an answer--Nature on PBS or something? But I ended up being accepted into a theatre school which I wanted to go to more, so...

When Max returned to OLTL for Asa's funeral in 2007, I made sure to tape all three of his episodes--and I watched the part with Cord asking him how Argentina was OVER AND OVER again. wub.png

I have the "Tad the Cad" episode from Fan February of 2003 (It was on those daytime reruns in 2010) on my DVR and still watch it from time to time.

Also, I still have the one where Tad pops out of a cake on my DVR too.

I STILL wonder why, in JDP's SOD interview in 2001, Max's full name was listed as Maxwell and not as Maximilian, which it was supposed to be on the show.

I used to watch a scene where Max called Gabrielle "Kitten"--when she was definitely getting serious with Bo by then, in August 2002--over and over.

...I'm noticing a disturbing pattern from myself, here. wink.png

Before I started buying soap magazines more regularly in later years, there used to be one or two that my family might have picked up. I'd look through those and if there were characters I recognized and disliked, I would put big X marks over their faces in red pen.

Did you do this to your yearbook too?

The photos were usually so ugly and awkward I thought those made enough of a statement on their own.

LOL. I so did that w/ my yearbook - except I used a red Magic Marker instead of a red pen.

I also drew devil horns on this girl who was a total little bitch.
