Someone help me out.

Why in th same breath is Todd claiming PTSD and Guilty By Reason Of Insanity? Those are two totally different things. PTSD would not explain why he gave away a child and then tried to bribe John, would it? I don't think so.

Eric83, You know I love me some Tarly, but I'm sensing something might have been rushed due to PeePee and Roger/Todd's possible temporary departure. Todd's declaration was well done by Roger, but I didn't see that coming because nothing onscreen has lead to it.

And excuse me, but why in the sam hell is Carly asking this man, IN OPEN COURT, to plead guilty and say he was sane? She would never do that to someone she cares about! Carly would be encouraging him to lie like a rug as she goes on her own and helps him get out of this mess. AND SHE CERTAINLY WOULDN'T BE SITTING NEXT TO JOHN MCBAIN AGREEING WITH HIM ABOUT ANY DAMN THING! She doesn't even like him. Way OTT and stupid and so not who this woman is. I really don't care if someone stands by me if I'm in [!@#$%^&*] jail! That just made no sense. Did she really think this man was going to give up his freedom for another piece of ass? Ron's idea of who Carly is has missed the mark more times than not! He disregards who these characters are in favor if his theatrics! Moron Hack!

Ugh!

    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can't hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.

      look who’s at a party I’m at
    • Yes. We should absolutely move on from John/Drake's 40 year legacy on the show to see what Leo is going to do tomorrow.  Lol.  This can't be a serious post.

I came in with a dream and left with a purpose. From lecture halls to rehearsals, community work to creative sets, every moment shaped me. I’m so proud of the stories I’ve told here — and the ones still unfolding. Grateful to everyone who poured into me, supported me, challenged me, and believed in me. Fours up and peace out! #UCLA #ClassOf2025 #BlackBruinExcellence #YearbookVideo @jordanward
    • The actor who plays Martin has been teasing that nobody has guessed Martin's secret. I love that for things like that and the June story we have no idea. I feel like if we didn't have the day ahead feeds Anita's reveal would've been shocking as well. I love that they aren't going the obvious route with these stories.
    • I tried following the news in Los Angeles at https://laist.com (independent public radio and news) They had up-to-the minute accurate info during the wildfires in January. There's no video, no impact to my mind as to what's happening. Trying other outlets, to get the truth, but it's hard.
    • That's a bit murky since that happened during a writers' strike. Assuming Kristen Marie had a 2-year contract she left about when her contract would have expired and Sharlene and Josie showed up right before that. Lemay was officially credited as HW from September 1988 but it seems very probable that his anticipated tenure influenced events that happened during the strike which started in April.
    • I've seen so many posters over the years who are bright, creative, well-versed in soap history, and who care deeply about the integrity of the genre. I'd put the shows' chances in their hands a lot faster than I would allow any of the "usual suspects" to take control of the dramas they've already helped decimate. When I returned to university in the 1980s, I created a bible for a new soap and presented it in my screenwriting class. It was in reaction to how badly I saw the network shows being butchered at the time. The creative process was thrilling; a total joy, and I still smile when I remember the positive feedback I received from the professor and my fellow students. I was used to seeing written commentary from professors on my work. This one wrote me a long, complimentary note on the final page of the bible, but also graded it 97%, A+. I was beaming ear to ear for days!
