Will is among the least SORASed soap kids. He was born in 1995 and on the show now I think he's 19 or 20. That's just a couple years' difference. Alison Sweeney will play a grandmother soon because Sami and Will were both young when they had their first kids, which happens in real life too.

As for all the Prospect Park casting, I'm excited that we are all trying to figure out who these people are! I do think it is too early to age AJ and Miranda that much, but it would still be slower than what GL did with Leah Bauer LOL.

I have no problem with Miranda and AJ being SORASed, if these are indeed them. I'm also hoping they're bringing back Petey!

I wonder if PP will put out a press release soon with more info on the writers and actors for AMC?

My issue with SORAS'ing AJ and Miranda is that while Erica is conceivably old enough to be a great-grandmother (since she did have Kendall at 14, if Kendall had had children young too), SORAS'ing AJ means that Dixie is one drunken night away from being a great-grandmother. I don't like Cady McClain at all, so I'd laugh if she had to play a great-grandmother, but I still don't think she's old enough for it.

If the show is going to pick up in real time then I think they should be very judicious with the use of SORASing or else they become a cliche right out of the gate. If they are going to SORAS the hell out of every kid on the canvas then do a five year time jump a la One Tree Hill.

But I'm not terribly concerned that these scripts are for AJ/Mimo. I think that people are trying too hard to tie every script to an established character when they could just as easily be for new characters.
