And I thought I was the only one on this board who finds Kassie to be a one-note yeller (yelling is often the only thing is her bag of tricks) with fans who overrate her talent (thankfully the industry never really gave a toss about her, though she remained employed for years).

You must have missed a lot of posts unsure.png I think there are only about three or four of us here who like KDP.

I've never really seen it from anyone except marceline, and I guess Doyen (sp?) who only occasionally posted.

There are a few others beyond those, I think, but I thought you meant you were the only one.

Thread derail over, sorry.

Anyone with a minimum of 10-15 years on soaps, with much more on than off. Alison Sweeney is a vet both of the genre and on her show with 20 consecutive years as Sami.

Someone like Crystal Chappell, i dont really know. Yes shes a soap vet, but when she returned to days i wouldnt say she was a vet on days. She was on the show for 3 years more than 15 years prior.

Laura Wright....Is not a vet. She's only played Carly since 2005. Even though there's been other Carly's before her.

LW is a soap vet given her time on Loving, GL and GH

I guess that's an important difference. Soap vet vs. show vet. Someone considered a vet in the business can be considered a dreaded "newbie" on a particular show.

The above mentioned Laura Wright being a prime example.

She is absolutely a vet soap star. But she is not a GH vet.

Genie Francis is a good exemple too.

Y&R is just a machine for that aren't they? They take vet actors and somehow manage to just chew up all that goodwill. They certainly did it with Genie. Debbi Morgan too.

My definition of a vet is "I know them when I see them"

Robin Mattson does not have 10 years of screen time on GH, and yet she is a vet. Bradford Anderson may well have more years on the show under his belt than Mattson, but he is not a vet. Nancy Lee Grahn has 15 years of screen time, but she is not a vet. Jane Elliot probably doesn't have 15 years worth of screen time clocked up when you consider all her breaks, and she is a vet.

How is Nancy Lee Grahn not a vet, homegirl has been around for 30+ years in the industry....???

The 10 year definition would also make this chick a vet
