Ewww, what is up with her eyebrows?

Which she now has. Carly has softened under RC and isnt as abrasive and cold as she was written under Guza. Its kinda how he watered Blair down from how she previously used to be written before him. Carly is being written like Blair. They always had similairities but more so than before, they are interchangeable at this point

NO! Wolf developed Carly! Cartooni made her an idiot whining all the time about that punk!

Like Blair would do to the various shady men she latched onto and played her. Interchangeable basic bitches

It's to welcome the arrival of Todd's long lost mother, and the new Helena Cassadine.

Then that means Alexis is also the new Blair, and the new Carly.

Not really. I dont see her written like either of those two.

Aside from this Shawn story, wherever it is, all of her stories for years have been about shady men who duped her or used her. That's the generic writing for female soap characters, especially as they age.

We're talking about Alexis today and under RC that hasnt been how she's been written. Shawn and Mac are the only men he's thrown her way. Mac was the typical teasing that went nowhere and Shawn seems to have more luck. Both are decent guys. Jerry re-entered her sphere this summer and she told him to get lost and wasnt written as smitten for him and making excuses. Nothing about Alexis' current writing screams the current Blair or Carly nor how both of those two used to be portrayed

My point is that this isn't some amazing writing parallel RC has given Blair and Carly. It's just generic writing for aging heroines. The show doesn't even play it up that much beyond lazy surface stuff - RC's writing said that Blair was so worthless, she deserved to bleed to death alone in a shower while Todd looked on. No one is doing that with Carly.
