In my alternate universe, I always imagined Skye had AJ hidden somewhere.

Same! I figured if anyone would protect him it would be Skye. If Alan ever comes back, I could see Skye involved in that too.

See I dont like the idea of Monica hding AJ or knowing he's been alive this whole time. Id rather she be clueless and the scenes when she sees him for the first time will be that much more powerful even if LC wont be able to properly emote them. I just dont like the idea of her letting Edward think he was dead all these years bc I think it would have given him some comfort to know that AJ was alive and well somewhere even if he would never see him again

Having Monica this closely involved at least gives her something to do other than react to Tracy's storylines. I'm fine with it.

I dont want Monica involved in some cover up at all.

Neither do I. It really takes away the drama of seeing her son alive again.
