Y&R: What FoJ should JFP bring on?

I recall reading in SOD earlier this year that Matt Crane and Robin Christopher live in PA. (I believe in rural PA.) She stated that he has given up acting entirely, and she herself seemed to have mixed feelings about coming back to GH (though my memory could be incorrect on that matter).

He's a sculptor now. Too bad, as I liked him on AW.

I knew he had given up acting, but I believe she has stated that she is still willing to act, but that her family life and those priorities have to come first.

Aw, I was hoping you would like my idea.

It's not a bad idea, I was just trying to figure out a way to tie in another FOJ in McClatchy.

Though, if they did shoehorn Robin into the show, it would probably be as Victor's daughter than Julia (played by Ms. Bob Guza - Meg Bennett) gave away to "protect" her for some inane reason.

It is strange that he has that in common with Victoria Wyndham and Rachel. I though he was a very good actor as well.

God, I'm trying to imagine Robin Christopher and Fiona Hutchison onscreen together. That would be amazing wub.png .

I can't see them meshing well. Robin tends to do a lot of sleepytime acting, and Fiona also seems to be more subdued in recent years.

But wouldn't it be just delicious for Phyllis to have a mother who's even MORE vicious and conniving then she is? To give us some idea of how she came to be?

Yeah, that's what I said about Michael Baldwin. And then, along came Gloria. :(

Maybe they'll write in a new jewel thief and Jill will offer Fiona the job without an audition again.

Ironically, if anyone could have played the thankless role of Cane's bio mom, it probably was Fiona Hutchison.

Here's my idea for bringing Robin Christopher onto the show: she's the head of a Chicago-based PR firm that Victor reluctantly hires to repair his public image (and in turn, stockholders' faith in Newman Enterprises) after this latest debacle involving the company and family. Naturally, her ideas rub Nikki, Victoria, even Adam and Nick the wrong way, putting them all on the same side probably for the first time. There is no denying, though, how she shares chemistry with both Adam and Nick; and for once, Adam, and not Nick, is the cuckolded one when he discovers his half-brother has been sleeping with his new ladylove.

Thanks Y&RWorldTurner.

And you know, I wouldn't be opposed to RC playing a long lost daughter of Victor. Just think, Victor discovers that he has this daughter. He goes to visit her and sees a fire within her, recognizing that she may be more like him than any of the others.

He brings her to town, but makes her agree not to tell anyone that she is his daughter. When Victor finds out that he is in trouble with the SEC, he decides to fake his own death. At the will reading we find out that he has left her (Let's just call her Veronica) in charge of everything.

Victoria and Nick are outraged. They, as well as Nikki, Katherine and the Newman Board get a mysterious invitation to the ranch for that evening. When they arrive, Veronica struts out and announces to them that she's Victor's daughter, and that she's about to shake up the family, and it's brand, like never before.

What do you think?

They would definitely need a stronger Victoria than Heinle's sleepwalking ass to pull off the animosity in such a storyline.

Anything to bring Julia back for a few episodes is good with me, no matter how ridiculous the story is...

LOL I am DEAD at sleepwalking ass.

But everyone knows my first choice of Victoria recasts would be RC. So if she was coming in as a new daughter, I would say Sarah Brown or Megan Ward as Victoria.

But I do think that would be an interesting story. Obviously, Nick and Victoria would resent her, therefore Nikki would dislike her for being a threat to her children.

However, to spice things up, I would have Katherine back Veronica up and stand behind her, as she sees how similar she is to Victor and thinks she's a perfect fit to run the Newman brand.

This would drive a wedge between Nikki and Katherine. Ultimately, it could drive quite a bit of story.

But does TGVN really need another offspring? That's my question.

Well, the ones he has are a bit played out. Not to mention, Abby is leaving.

But I guess the answer to your question is no. He doesn't NEED one, but it could drive a LOT of story and Robin Christopher is the exact type of actress that should be playing Victor's daughter.

No, but considering the offspirng he does have....it wouldn't hurt to another.

She plays a woman with Daddy issues well, and she would certainly bring some life to the dull Newman clan we have now.
