I just came because of the John Ingle news which is very sad indeed. It seems like just yesterday he was so young and vibrant on Days of Our Lives. :( It's going to be so difficult watching him on screen knowing how poorly he is at the moment.

Forgive me. It's 4:27am, I've been up all night editing some video and I'm a little loopy... but that sentence read COMPLETELY inappropriate to me right off the bat! LMFAO!

Olivia was the only one who made sense to me in the entire Heather story. She was the only one who questioned where Heather was and how she was able to walk around PC so freely without anyone noticing or being upset that there was a lunatic on the loose. She was the only one who checked Heather appropriately. Everyone else just let her do whatever she wanted to do and come and go as she pleased which was one of my biggest problems with that story. Heather should have been monitored more and Olivia was the only character that truly got how dangerous and inappropriate she was as a mother and deeply disturbed figure.

I agree with you. I don't remember how the pacing was but her reactions were definitely appropriate.

Even though I had to watch it online. Stupid DVR didn't record it. Even though it auto set for 2. Going to have to fix that.

This was pretty much the pacing:

Steve: Olivia, this is my mother.

Olivia: Hello, Heather.

Heather: Olivia.

Olivia: OMG, Steve, she's a freakin' loon! She's outta her freakin' mind!

And we're off to the races...

See and if it's probably his last appearance they should've been working on a tribute to Edward instead of the upcoming Skate nuptials, and this location shoot to try and bait viewers.

I don't agree. Edward has been an old foul cartoon for quite some time, and JI certainly didn't help matters (Mickey on DOOL? Lawd have mercy!). The Qs were decimated and have absolutely no remaining value to the show. If you didn't have a penis, Edward was not interested in you as an heir. I could not stand him. As for John, I hope he is not suffering in any way, and I wish him the best.

He's Edward Quartermaine!!! This is a character who's been around for nearly 35 years, and nearly 20 of them he was played by the incomparable John Ingle. The only reason the Q's were decimated & Edward became heir hungry is because Jill & Bob made them that way.

I just read this and how sad. Does anyone know what he's suffering from?

He has cancer.

For me I like John Ingle, I've just never felt he was Edward. He's more like a cuddly teddy bear. David Lewis was so so different, he played Edward as hard and ruthless and powerful, of course the material was better but he also had a command of the screen and the character. I think he and Anna Lee's Lila were the perfect balance together. They should have killed off Edward when David Lewis left and passed away and the character still had some relevance on the show and the Quartermaines were still half relevant to provide some decent fallout. Edward back then was a calculating SOB and his death in the form of a murder might have generated some decent story.

I don't like the fact that Edward is male heir happy and a teddy bear but he still should get a proper tribute. I mean there are still family members alive and out of town(Jimmy and his daughter Rebecca,Ceila, Faith, Ned, Dillion,Brooklynn, Maya) though they'd have to do some recasting.
