  • Member

Here is Melissa Reeves Twitter today.

"Chick-fil-a today!!!! Loved every bite of it;)!! Land of the free and home of the brave. Love that we all appreciate free speech, right? "

Wrong Melissa- Hate is not appreciated. You have the right to express your Hate. I have the right to cut off "Days" if you are on my screen also. Please tweet Ms. Reeves everyone to let her know her hatred is not acceptable. I am Emailing "Days" also to demand them to get her off my screen or I quit watching "Days.

She's doomed no matter what she puts out there.

No, she is not. If she issued an apology showing genuine remorse for support a business that supports hate groups, promised to never repeat that mistake, and to use her celebrity status to actively support pro-gay rights groups, the whole thing would turn around for her. Reeves' problem is that she meant exactly what she said in that tweet and can take none of it back. She took her hate-filled butt to Chick Fila and then took the time to type out that tweet. She deserves everything she gets. I hope the gay and non-bigoted people on that set make her work life miserable.

I really dont think that will help. People will accuse her of being ungenuine and fake and only doing any of that bc she is being blasted.

I think it would help if she actually got involved with pro-gay rights groups. However, like I said, she said what she meant and that is the end of that.

Well, at least god is on her side if no one else is

It's awful convenient how she honors god and is allowed to offer her opinion, but if you disagree with her you are not honoring god, and that it isn't her words that are destructive but rather everyone who takes her words at face value.

Has it occurred to anybody that the reason Missy Reeves chose to make her Twitter account private was because she may have received death threats? On Wednesday, a militant, pro-homosexual activist shot a security guard outside the DC office of the Family Research Council. On the one hand, many in the gay community have shown tremendous respect for others. On the other hand, it's really scary just how fringe some homosexuals can be; obviously, the shooting is the worst of it, but the vitriol shown towards Crystal Chappell and the demands that Reeves be fired are extreme as well.

The bible was probably under the pillow while she was riding Jason Brooks into orgasmic heaven. It was her "special" way of honoring God. LOL!

"A militant, pro-homosexual activist" Bwah! Hilarious.

It's pretty sad that you can taunt me, yet you don't have one word of condemnation towards the monster who shot the security guard.

As I suspected, Missy did indeed receive threats, and that is why she shut down her account.

Im sure people dont care

Cheap, you are so right. There are too many who are just so strident in their beliefs and hate that they don't care.

Family Research Council? The same FRC that says homosexuality should be outlawed and homosexuals prosecuted? The same FRC that has been labeled a hate group? That's who we should be concerned about? Should I feel sympathy for the KKKer if a "radical jewish militant" shot a neo nazi?

Hate breeds hate. Considering how much hate is enmeshed, mandated and codified in christian conservatism, it is not surprising that sooner or later someone would hate them back to the point of going crazily violent. No one hated Melissa Reeves until she publicly came out in an attack on gay people for no other motive than spite and hatred, as evidenced by her pre-emptive "free speech" comment which was really her way of saying "There I said it, [!@#$%^&*] you"
