June 9, 201213 yr Member I thought it might have been like when the sports team had "We Are Family" as their anthem. That, too.
June 9, 201213 yr Member Last one, I promise!! For now anyway. Just so damn annoying and overproduced. This isn't awful but is so overrated and overplayed, and seen as way too important for 80's music. I HATE the "na na na na" part.
June 9, 201213 yr Member If it makes me a self-hating gay for saying I hate, hate, HATE Diana Ross's "I'm Comin' Out" and Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," then so be it. Those songs are DREADFUL and almost make me want to apologize to heterosexuals everywhere. Seriously, LGBT community, we can do so much better. I don't mind I Will Survive, but I'm Coming Out is just terribly structured - it's like the old Hooked on Phonics ads ("We. Are. Hooked. On. Phonics. We. Are. Learning. To Read.")

June 9, 201213 yr Member I've always hated everything about this. I'm not a fan of JCM in general. He scares me on too many levels. Oh, you guys are cutting my heart out here! I LOVE John Mellencamp--my fellow Bloomington boy! I've always loved that I was born in the same town he lives in . And while I have other favorites, I love "Hurts So Good" in spite of myself. This one, OTOH--I think I've just heard it a few too many times to like it much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaG8faaFUMM And ditto this one. Give me "Thunderstruck" ANY DAY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1BtExxkP0M
June 9, 201213 yr Member This one makes my ears bleed You'd hate driving next to me, then. I BLAST that song when I hear it on the radio! GNR forever--they're my favorite band! I actually like Use Your Illusion a little better than Appetite for Destruction, though. This is so predictable, but...yeah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfVsfOSbJY0 I can only listen to it like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJaiHfpc7cE&feature=related
June 9, 201213 yr Member This is probably blasphemy, but I never liked John Lennon's "Imagine." I think it's boring, tuneless and overrated.
June 9, 201213 yr Member Anything by Maroon 5. Most of the songs aren't that bad but I can't stand Adam Levine's whiny voice. Anything by Coldplay. Can't stand the singer's voice either.
June 9, 201213 yr Member Carl, I am with you on anything the world lets Katy Perry create. She is insanely awful, but my GOD at your heathenous speak about hating Don't You (Forget About Me). It is an anthem. Coldplay and Nine Inch Nails are two bands whose popularity astounds me. Awful ... And then there's Dallas Green. His songs are good, but his voice is lifeless and boring.

I'm that way about Carrie Underwood. I can't stand anything she sings. Her voice is just.........ugh! The big song I hate that shocks people is Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. I'm sorry. I just can't stand it. Edited June 9, 201213 yr by Becki
June 9, 201213 yr Member Coldplay and Nine Inch Nails are two bands whose popularity astounds me. Awful ... Perhaps it's a girl thing, but I've loved Coldplay since middle school. "Paradise" is like my personal theme song or something .
June 9, 201213 yr Member Bohemian f'n Rhapsody. I honestly can not stand the song and think it's stupid and pointless. I went out to a karaoke bar a few weeks ago and someone chose to sing it. Of course, the whole bar was loving it and having a ball, but I just sat quietly in the corner.
June 9, 201213 yr Member You'll love this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KojCsIS3m9I Edited June 9, 201213 yr by CarlD2
