TV Guide Interview: GH's Tony Geary

I'm lucky enough to have lived through the good old days at GH when shocking and confronting the audience was what we did.

How ironic, since the GH that made him famous - the only time the public ever cared about him - was a blatant whitewash, with Luke saving the world and being everyone's ideal. Unless I missed the episode where he ran over Jeremy and said he felt free now, and then nailed a whore.

Geary: Not me! I never thought I'd see the day three women would be fighting over him! And me at age 60-blah-blah! Of course, one of them's a lunatic, one's a shrew and one's a crazy bitch. [Laughs] I'll leave it to you to figure out which is which.

He certainly loves that quote - he used that elsewhere. It tells you a lot about PodAnna that she is now reduced to being Luke's "crazy bitch." I guess hair like that has to be proof of insanity.

I meant the kid in the early 80's who was raised by the Webbers, or Anne. Geary talked about how edgy and daring GH was and so on, but for most of his time in a central role, Luke never had that type of story.
