Any confirmation abut this news that's just popped up on Twitter, apparently via SOD:

"Insiders at Days report that Blake Berris is returning to the show as Nick Fallon..."

I wonder if he will be for Melanie, Abby or Gabi?

He and Abigail are cousins. He and Melanie aren't technically related, but I'd love for them to follow up on their history -- and have Maggie discover that Daniel isn't really her son, so Melanie isn't her granddaughter after all!

Considering the bad exit he had under Tomlin/Whitsesell (or was that just Higley?) I'm surprised, but I did like him. He always had crap writing. I thought he was that goofy-yet-hot type of actor who is probably in right now, although I don't know if he's done a lot since leaving.

I like Berris and would be happy to see him. He's good in a supporting role. However, I want as much money saved for Eileen's hopeful return.

Oh my god Nick! I loved him with Chelsea and was interested with a Chelsea/Nick/Melanie triangle before he killed Trent Robbins and Chelsea got with Uncle Max.

Also Jason Cook (Shawn Douglas Brady) is leaving General Hospital =), and his name has popped up on Days lately!! *fingers crossed" him, Belle and Claire will come back!!!

I liked Nick and Blake Berris was a promising actor. I'm not sure how he would fit into the canvas. The younger group certainly needs a strong actor but is the character the right one to bring back.
