What a [!@#$%^&*] joke. I swear we mentioned her when we were joking a few years back. It just never stops. Based on her backstage behavior, she'll fit right in.

Brett Butler. Talk about a blast from the past. Wasn't she an alcoholic or maybe she had a nervous breakdown that destroyed her show? I can't remember the details. I don't think I ever knew them.

Brett Butler was brought up only weeks ago. Oh MAB, you never fail to disappoint.

Since MAB is clearly paying attention to these threads for her casting notices...

Joan Collins IN as Victor Newman's ex-British lover whose out to destroy Sharon!

You should point out that Joan was also on The Nanny AND Roseanne, since she loves her 90's sitcoms.

And she was on FOX's short lived Pacific Palisades, so we've got our 90s genres covered.

I guess I am the only fan of Grace Under Fire around here (at least of the first two seasons).

Either way, I hope that she's on the wagon now and has put her bad behavior behind her. A soap cameo isn't exactly an upper-tier job, but it'll be good if at least opens a door or two for higher-profile stuff.

I don't even know who she is

She's a stand up comedian from Alabama who had her own sitcom on ABC, Grace Under Fire (1993-1998), until it was abruptly pulled off the air because her drug addiction proved too distracting and resulted in several cast members quitting before it was cancelled. There was also allegedly an infamous incident where she flashed her breasts while on drugs to the young boy who played her son, which resulted in his parents pulling him off the show (his character, Quentin, was aged and replaced with a teenage actor). Cole and Dylan Sprouse played her youngest son, Patrick. They were so cute. wub.png

I'm glad to see her working again (she stepped away for a long while to get clean, although she has apparently discovered a talent for being a psychic--um, okay), but as for Y&R--oh, MAB--I don't even watch it and I know this is par for the course with her.

All this does is irritate me because I've watched clips of GUF on YouTube and liked them, but Oxygen doesn't air it anymore so I can't see more of it! Gah mad.gif .
