He doesn't look that scruffy to me - just a beard and chest hair. I think that suits him. I could not stomach the waxed OLTL men, especially since some of them, like poor Brody and Jared, had some bad waxing going on, like someone ripped at their chests about a half hour before the filming.

To me the only guy on the show who looks dirty is Sonny, mostly because of the endless oil slick on his head.

Agreed, though I'll even go a step further and say that his hairy chest is a breath of fresh air from the rest of the hairless boys that they like to parade around in soaps. Perhaps that makes me a minority, but I prefer men that actually look like men over guys that are waxed to kingdom come.

Considering that GH is seriously lacking in the eye candy department, I think that it'd be a big mistake to let him go.

And Johnny has said NO! Not only that, he's said it to Connie. Let's tell the COMPLETE story here. It's not as if Johnny's like "Oh, good! Here's my chance!" and pounced on her. She's been relentless in putting this plan into action and using Johnny to do it. He's rejected Connie countless times over the last month. Sure, what he's doing is morally reprehensible, due to the fact that not only is he going to be adding to Kate's mental anguish once she realizes what she did, but he's also cheating on Carly. HOWEVER, Connie calculated this to a T, setting Johnny up and sending Sonny on a warpath straight to Johnny's house, coercing Johnny into sex with her by saying if he doesn't follow through, she'll tell Sonny he tried to harm "Kate." So there is a LOT of gray area to this. You can't "take advantage" of someone who is three steps ahead of you and corners you with threats and ultimatums. So, technically... Connie's committing the crime. Not Johnny. In order for you to accuse Johnny of raping Kate while she was "checked out," Johnny would had to have specifically brought Connie out in order to have sex with him knowing that Kate wouldn't. Yet, as we saw, Johnny knew Connie was out and still told her he didn't want to sleep with her and rejected her numerous advances.

I still would like to know how this show will explain Connie's existence. I won't say it's a proven medical fact that DID results from childhood sexual abuse, but I doubt reluctantly loving someone who is involved in the "coffee export" business triggers it.

Outside of the minimum wage production costs, there's not much to say about GH! It looked like a Telenovella. The lighting was horrible and the cameras were poorly positioned. I wanted to see Carly and Uncle Luke, but after one scene, had to change the channel.

I hate Cartini so damn much!

    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
