GH: Discussion for the Month of March

I was just getting through some of Tuesday's episode and was laughing at some of the dialogue, again...I think my favorite was "Drop it or you're dead," and, the one about, "He's a detective for the Llanview Police Department, and thank God he got here just in time!"

I had a huge problem with that as well.

I agree, KA is very believable when she's not shrieking. She's really good at being believable in "normal" conversation type scenes which I'd bet is actually way tougher than it looks. I hate angsty/mad Starr because KA is clearly too positive/peppy of a soul to play it. She literally just doesn't have it in her.

Well to be fair PC's police department is a freakin' joke.

LOL Was Paul fired from OLTL by FV? I can't remember if it was under Higley or Carlivati that he was fired.

I like the guy and all. But, it's not like almost everyone out there didn't want the character of Spencer gone. Even though Satterfield's a good actor. Spencer Truman was a real PITA.

Why do you continue to do this? I was agreeing with CarlD2 about the awful wording of the expository dialogue. Thanks again! :)

John has been pimped for eons on OLTL--even though he's repeatedly caused "accidental" deaths that often could have been prevented, etc, everyone (especially Blair) considers him the protector of Llanview, but the dialogue when he came swooping onto the scene in Port Charles was beyond ridiculous in that respect. Blah.

Well yeah but so was Llanview's and Pine Valley's (although I guess they didn'thave known mobsters running around for decades). But in this case I'm not sure that's relevant--the characters going on about thanking God John swooped in were Starr and Blair--mainly Blair, who know nothing about PC's police department.

Nevertheless, he did, indeed, get there just in time... In time to usher those interlopers and their ridiculous "story" out of town.

God listening to Edward list off all the dead Quartermaines was a depressing reminder of how Guza did quite a hatchet job to that family.

It almost becomes like some type of snuff porn - sometimes I wish the show would just stop mentioning it. I was a little annoyed back when they used Emily's death to have Edward say he was the new Joe Kennedy. Unless we learn he was bankrolling kinky silent film, I'd rather not hear it.

That was a beautiful scene between Skye and Edward though...

I watched clips of Robin's funeral. John Ingle has become very frail, but it was good to see him.

Finola's face is hard to get used.
