    As  Neighbours has  played out its final months, Tammin Sursok (ex-Colleen, Y&R) has had an extended guest role as a fashion designer. Sursok, of course, got her start on Australian soaps.  The role, equal parts passive-aggressive, bitchy, manipulative,  in over her head, and occasionally vulnerable, suits her more than Colleen did.

    There was a big attempt at an Aussie influx into US soaps (and primetime, IIRC) in the mid-late '90s, and again in the 2000s/early '10s in dribs and drabs. I still remember Lachlan Buchanan trying to be put over as Kyle Abbott. I didn't think he was that bad, I liked him, but not very long at all after getting fired from Y&R as part of the then-customary Kyle purge he came out IRL and began taking a ton of gay roles. He's adorable.

    Another glimpse of Zach Tinker (DAYS, Y&R) is what appears to be a prominent role as one of the many playable characters in horror video game The Quarry, starring a who's who of both horror and youth talent, including legends Lance Henriksen, Ted Raimi, David Arquette, Grace Zabriskie and more. Zach is playing the jock in the backwards cap who also gets topless a lot.
