Well, good for him! If you can get a bit of extra money, why not.

Agreed! When was he in primetime last - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers? Of course, the choice for the original MacGyver came down to Drake and his Seven Brides co-star, Richard Dean Anderson.

Wow. I never knew Drake was in contention for the original MacGyver! Cool.

I must admit that as much as I deride Drake's skills as an actor, I probably would have liked him better as MacGyver.

Oh my goodness, Shenell Edmonds (Destiny, OLTL) is playing Roxanne Shanté's friend in the Netflix movie Roxanne Roxanne.  It took half a second to recognize her.

It's like a OLTL reunion on Netflix.

Shaun Evans makes a cameo in Roxanne Roxanne as a bouncer who doesn't want to let Roxanne rap and her friend (Shenell Edmonds) is trying to change his mind.

I am entirely too excited about OLTL's Renee Elise Goldsberry (and Kyle MacLachlan) doing the adaptation of John Bellairs' The House with a Clock in its Walls. I worshipped Bellairs' horror stories as a kid and it is beyond me they haven't been adapted more.
