Susan Lucci (no reference necessary) mentions in today's appearance on the Soapy podcast that she is featuring in Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill's upcoming black comedy film Outcome for Apple TV. Upon checking the IMDB page it also features young Cary Christopher (Thomas DiMera, DAYS), recently seen in Weapons.

This is somewhat off-topic, but when Tony's daughter BJ died and her heart was transplanted into her cousin Maxie in 1995, soap critics anticipated that Brad Maule would win an Emmy for his efforts. Justin Deas of Guiding Light defeated Brad Maule, causing a huge upset, ultimately winning six Emmys. Well, I recently saw an interview with Deas, and he has moved from his house to a new condo. He revealed that he gave away all six of his Emmys (including the one he won over Maule) to the movers because he wanted to "declutter."

I can only imagine what Brad Maule would think if Deas just gave away his Emmys like that!

Justin rarely went to awards shows. He didn't care about them.

If he gave them away recently, it may be down to him having stage 4 lung cancer.

Sad to hear about Justin Deas. Always hate to hear about someone getting cancer. It's such a vicious disease.

As for the Emmys, Brad Maule should've won. I think many stars would cherish their one more than others who were rewarded year after year. Also speaking of Brad, I recently saw an interview he did where he spoke about the 60th anniversary of GH and he also spoke about being on the City Council. I'll check out his podcast.

Cary Christopher (Thomas DiMera, DAYS) was nominated for a Critics Choice award as "younger actor" for the film "Weapons".
