I can't ever get into bitch fests as my fave scenes but Brooke and erica on Brookes return. Very much like Dorian and Vicki, they went from hatred and rivals to 2 women who grew to really respect and admire each other through the years. Its funny how this scene seems to capture everything they were over the years.

I hated Jake and Amanda through most of their run but LB really did them justice towards the end and wrote them a short poignant arc that both actors shined in and RPG is probably one of my least fave actors. Janets return with Kate Collins was terrific, one of my alltime AMC Faves as was this lovely scene with she and CS/Amanda

I was looking for one what I thought was a good scene with Victor and Nikki in the park right before Nikki left for rehab with Nikki at the breaking point and MTS was terrific but i could not find it.

OLTL no contest - Dorian's final scenes with Vicki

GH - nothng with the Spencers. All those actors are too self indulgent to be touched by. That Monica/Tracy scene was the best of the year

I'm not going to comment on the scenes where Echo plans to asphyxiate Dorian, as they are way out of whack with what was supposed to be a fun scene. The part of this I enjoy is just the pure joyful silliness of SpiderSam saving Dorian. The last bits with Sam and Dorian are some of the most adorable I've seen on any soap in a long time.

I was going to post the Janet/Amanda reconcilation scene. I thought that was the essence of AMC.

Also, I can't find a clip of it, but for sheer emotional power I would say the scene where Jesse says goodbye to Ellie's grave in the park. That had me in hardcore tears.

I've said it a few times before, but Jill Larson's work in 1998 on AMC when Erica found Opal after Palmer locked her in his secret room was absolutely phenomenal.

And, of course, David Canary coming back and showing sons of bitches how it should be done in the second to last episode of AMC when Adam brings Stuart back to life. In my entire history as an AMC watcher, never has a simple 2 minute scene with so little dialogue had me legitimately crying. The show went to commercial and 3 commercials in, my ass was still weeping.
