Has it suddenly become cheaper to make soaps? They had "millions of fans" before and it wasn't enough.

Stop. Just stop.

You mean, you didn't know? Yeah, Y&R has graciously volunteered use of their sets and other equipment to AMC on the weekends. So get ready, AMC fans, 'cuz ConFusion's gonna start lookin' a lot like the Crimson Lights! laugh.png

Sorry, OLTL. As usual, you got screwed.

Ive never seen Vasi take an awful picture but man did SID pick a bad shot of her to put on their site.

This reminds me of that awful Brandon Buddy pic. Are they too lazy and cheap to retouch pictures these days?

No. To be honest with you, that Prospect Park thing was such a disaster. They came to people and gave one offer, and when it came time to renegotiate they never came back to the table. It wasn’t the actors that weren’t trying to make something work.

I was always open to doing it as long as I could do it while doing other things. I certainly didn’t want [Prospect Park to have] exclusivity. I know how devoted the fans are, and if we could have made that work, it would have been great to do it. I’ve done a web series before, so I thought I could swing it and other projects on the side, but then I just never heard back.

We did shoot a different version, and I love the version we shot originally. But then the Prospect Park thing came about. We only had Kate Collins [who plays Amanda's mother Janet] for a few days, so we had to shoot our ending with her really, really early. And then the Prospect Park thing happened and they changed the ending to what you saw. What’s sad is that I know what the ending as supposed to be, so I feel like the fans were robbed. We all had these vignettes that were beautiful and really great, so that’s the biggest regret.

But the film for the ending that was never used is out there, somewhere!

Good for Denise Vasi, though she has no business playing somebody's lead. Then again, she and Stacey Dash are two peas in a pod, undeniably gorgeous with minimal acting chops and flat line delivery.

I wish everyone would go ahead and share what their vignettes were. Or SoapNet could do one final good deed and air them in some sort of AMC special before they become the Three Year-Olds Whose Asses Should Be Sleep Anyway Channel.

I'm don't think everyone shot an alternate ending. For example, I don't think anyone among the Chandlers had an alternate ending because David Canary and Julia Barr did not start working until after the Prospect Park announcement. So there's no reason for them to shoot an alternate ending. There's probably bits and pieces (Leo & Greenlee, confirmed by RB and Amanda and Janet, confirmed by CS) floating around though. I wonder what Erica's ending would have been.

Yeah, I'm not sure about what had been written vs. what was actually shot. But I guess we know Amanda/Janet(and presumably Jake?), Greenlee/Leo, and I believe MEK spoke about the original endings that he really liked, though again, not sure how much had been taped.

Also probably Ryan and Gillian, since we know more was shot. Esta essentially got paid for 5 seconds of airtime.

This seriously does not sound like SL to me, I wonder if someone else is FB'ing on her page, maybe a friend or an assistant or something? It struck me as so UnSL like
