OLTL: Death

I just don't believe Matthew is "dead". He didn't mention Destiny or his unborn child. He probably goes to heaven and the characters he meets will probably send him back to live.

Matthew dying on Thanksgiving, omg.. I can't deny it, it brought tears to my eyes. I just thought the whole episode was beautifully shot, directed, written and acted out. And for some reason, his death just felt so appropriate, given that the show is ending soon.

It's weird to me that no one knows what's going to happen...has there been a blackout on spoilers?

It's entirely possible that Matthew will be revived on Monday, given the ghosts that are returning soon (although I also really want Gabrielle to see Tina again, too!).

Still, if he IS dead, then Bo has lost two people he loves on Thanksgiving: Sarah died in a car accident on Thanksgiving night in 1992 sad.png .

I hope so. I know there's this grand idea of a character death represents the death of the show, and isn't this fitting, and let's weep for the Emmy reel, but I've seen that crap already, over and over, in finales. It would be great if the show avoided that and Matthew was revived.

I agree! beautiful episode. But I did think it was odd that Matthew wasn't narrating about Destiny and the baby. And I was happy that he/the writers mentioned the day Matthew could have helped Shane with the bullies (and didn't).

Kind of sad that Matthew feels remorse but none is expected of Nate (who did this in the first place) or Jack (who instead gets a girlfriend).

Sounds like Matthew will be revived on Monday.

David Hayward to the rescue! ;)

I am going to record the new few episodes. I am looking forward to Matthew waking up and finding out about Destiny and the baby.

i thinK Matthew will be fine--

The pictures posted from the last tape days at the studio seem to indicate that Matthew has scenes with Nora/Bo and the Evans family - and he said he was taping still, so if he's not alive... he's a ghost? I think he'll be alive

This was just a shock to keep us remembering Matthew!
