February 3, 201213 yr Member I have no idea, but as for me and my house, the show sounds like a total bore even if it may not be. The View has celeb guests and is of course famous at this point, and The Chew has the lure of food! If someone stopped me on the streets of Manhattan and offered me tickets to The Chew, I'd go and wear a tee shirt with a scrapbook on it, Morse code blinking "Erica Kane for Life".
February 4, 201213 yr Member The more I look at these numbers, the more I pray for a swift cancellation for horrible show... The Revolution Left at the Starting Gate in Week One by marcberman on January 26, 2012 in Highlights with 128 Comments Based on the lackluster overnights, it was a given new ABC talker The Revolution would not impress once the Live Plus Same ratings were released. The Revolution opened with a mere 1.68 million viewers for the week of January 16 according to Nielsen, which is down by 37 percent from year-ago occupant One Life to Live (2.64 million for the week of 1/24/11). Erosion was even worse among target female demos with The Revolution off from One Live to Live by 43 percent in women 25-54 (1.4 rating/8 share to 0.8/ 4), 40 percent in women 18-49 (1.0/ 6 to 0.6/ 3) and 40 percent among women 18-34 (0.5/ 3 to 0.3/ 2). Yes, this is worse than The Chew’s debut week compared to All My Children. As a basis of comparison, take a look at The Revolution versus recent entry The Chew, also on ABC, and The Talk on CBS, which had its largest audience since the week of January 28, 2011: -Total Viewers: The Chew (ABC): 2.44, The Talk (CBS): 2.39, The Revolution (ABC): 1.68 -Women 25-54: The Talk (CBS): 1.1/ 6, The Chew (ABC): 1.0/ 6, The Revolution (ABC): 0.8/ 4 -Women 18-49: The Talk (CBS): 0.9/ 5, The Chew (ABC): 0.7/ 5, The Revolution (ABC): 0.6/ 3 -Women 18-34: The Chew (ABC): 0.5/ 3, The Talk (CBS): 0.4/ 3, The Revolution (ABC): 0.3/ 2 ABC’s The View stood head and should above this trio, of course, with 3.67 million viewers, a 1.4/ 8 in women 25-54 and a 1.0/ 6 among women 18-49. The moral of the story: ABC should have left well enough alone. http://www.tvmediain...te-in-week-one/ I hate it that The Chew is doing so well, but I am laughing my behind off at The Revolution. I have found must better things to do during that hour, and watching this trainwreck sure as hell ain't one of them. LOL
February 9, 201213 yr Member Calculating The Revolutions ratings based on NBC's press release for The Today show. It looks like The Revolution had 1,439,000 viewers for week 3. It's looking better for GH with each passing week.
February 9, 201213 yr Member No, they had 1.68 mil the previous week. They shed almost a quarter million. They apparently haven't hit bottom yet.
February 9, 201213 yr Member Thanks. I thought it had been 1.3. I must have been looking at a day not the week. That's pretty bad. ABC won't want to lose face, but eventually the affiliates will hit the brakes.
February 9, 201213 yr Member Carl I think that the confusion is that I'm talking viewers in millions and you are talking household rating. I'm pretty sure they did get 1.3's in household rating last week.
February 10, 201213 yr Member The ratings continue to erode http://michaelfairmansoaps.com/news/the-revolutions-ratings-continue-to-erode-has-half-the-audience-oltl-had-a-year-ago/2012/02/10/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

February 17, 201213 yr Member Looks like they are still paying people to be in the audience of the tapings... THE REVOLUTION Still Paying $30 For Audience Members; Now "Untitled" With Expanded Age Range We Love Soaps revealed earlier this month scoop about THE REVOLUTION's struggle to find people to attend a taping of the show. Not only is the show a disaster in the ratings, they advertised on a casting website a notice for "upscale" audience members who could earn $30 for being there in person. This week the show seemed even more desperate in a new plea for an audience. Instead of labeling themselves as "The Revolution" the casting notice read "Untitled Network Talk Show (NY)". You'll notice the age rage has been expanded as well. http://www.welovesoaps.net/2012/02/rev30.html
February 17, 201213 yr Member I wonder if a lot of people have been canceling at the last minute. I wish Robin Strasser could show up, just for a chuckle.
February 17, 201213 yr Member I wonder if a lot of people have been canceling at the last minute. I wish Robin Strasser could show up, just for a chuckle. From the way it sounds they were. That's funny, but also kind of sad. And I just noticed that they mispelled the word paid in that casting call.
February 17, 201213 yr Member So, anyone have the ratings for this last week? Shed more viewers? How could they possibly suck anymore than the week before.
