Short and to the point and no time for Broderick to have Ryan and Gillian start talking about David. as for JR's sex tape "evul" plan, the idea was pure Adam Chandler, the execution was not. Why the hell did JR decide to go and put it on AJ's computer in a diner full of people so that Opal could see it with the hopes of her spreading the gossip around town??? That was just so dumb. The whole thing is so ultra black and white. Look at the harmless boring lesbians looking at houses and birds chirping around them while evil JR is playing with a sex tape and going on homophobic rants....I hope JR dies in the end, that way AMC can't screw him up post september 23rd. Liza's PSA about homosexuals etc...bla bla bla. yes of course she was right but who are we kidding? Like Liza truly gives a f'ck about anyone but herself. I enjoyed the flashbacks but there was no need to see Gillians image standing in Ryans home for 10 seconds was there? AS for JR yeah its not to subtle what and why they are doing it. I guess in the online age that's damn near impossible. I am holding out hope there are more scenes... like this was a joke considering the hype. Bianca and Marissa were clearly planned BEFORE cancellation... I think under the time constraints it would have been better to just drop that ball.... they were very interesting when the groundwork was being laid, I was really enjoying it. They though have just rushed them together just as a plot device for the AJ custody battle. The writing, as per usual, is also very manipulative. Usually they at least try and show JR's struggle with the Adadm v. Dixie. I actually do hope(believe it or not) that hey are setting JR up for some fall so that I think JR is an important character especially since Adam won't be around. I can see why JY jumped ship. It's like the opposite of what parents want for their children. They want to protect them and hope they remain innocent as long as possible. But JR is hoping to what scare his child or in some way blame Bianca and Marissa for the fact that AJ saw them sleeping together and damaged him in some way? This is ridiculous. He doesn't seem to care at all how AJ himself may react to this. He doesn't even care about his son's emotional stability anymore and it's not even about Marissa or Bianca doing sexual acts with each other, it's about sex in general. He's too young. He is what 6-8 years old? I agree actually. I think all he has been playing since I re-tuned in again has been anger, which is fine. It's a valid emotion but that's all he has been playing. We saw barest glimpses of genuine sincere pain when he played that Life game with Tad but that's it. All he has been playing is entitlement and then later rage when JR doesn't get what he wants. All of his acting choices have revolved around him playing a character who is in need of some serious anger management courses. All he does is yell, use his body language to intimidate people and then scream some more. I don't find that to be great acting. He's degenerated to how he portrayed the character back in 2004. Seriously. What more evidence does one need. And everyone was calling me insane when I pointed it out a handful of episodes ago. JR has had homophobic tendencies way before now. You could watch the seeds of his anti-gay behavior extend all the way back to 2004. Yes! I need to know when she is airing. This is ridiculous. She was confirmed before Esta and we still have no clue when she is premiering. Greenlee never really forgot Leo. She went through a pretty deep mourning period for about 2 years and then even when she was pairing with Ryan we got echoes of Leo through out 2005 when Greenlee thought Ryan died. He's always been a backdrop of the Greenlee character. However I agree about Gillian being an after thought for Ryan especially in regards to his pairings with Kendell and later Greenlee. What I can say about DC is his Adam had a certain charm and wit about him that could make you like him regardless of the crappy things he did. And no matter what the writers did to Adam, that charm always came through. I credit DC for that because he is an amazing actor, he's far better than the likes of Geary or Bergman on Y&R who get/got all the flash and emmy baits with generally better material while DC spins crap into gold. It became appalling to me how the likes of Geary and Bergman with lessor material continued to get the gratuitious emmy noms while DC continued to work his *ss off with no reward fro his peers. But I am off on a tangent. While I think JY is better as an actor than he has ever been, he's not talented enough or commanding enough to do what DC was able to do. Its not a criticism and I think JY is a fine actor just not great. WHile he might get underused on B&B(who knows) I think the move was smart on his part. I wish him luck. I think if they want to keep JR they need to revamp the character and get a different actor. Nothing against JY at all but I think someone with more command of the screen might be able to help take the characrer in a new direction. Since Greenlee sold it to Jane, who was pretending to be Erica. But it seems like AMC wants to pretend that Erica does own. Which makes sense, because she's clearly going to let David keep it.
