I wouldn't say bad writing, but bad continuity.

I recall them doing something similar with another major storyline somewhat recently but I can't remember. I mean, they did it for Matthew and Destiny's first kiss but that's not what I'm referring to here.

At least they dont end on a cliffhanger and pick up right where they left off 2 episodes later. Days does that mess and its annoying.

That was really ridiculous. I think we went a full month without seeing them after that. It made no sense. Same thing with Matthew taking her to his bedroom, we didn't see them for like two weeks after that. WTF

Skip to the last minute. Days ended on this cliffhanger and didnt even bother to show any of these characters in the following episode. 2 episodes later the show picks up exactly where this left off. Its aggravating to say the least

Hahahahaha that's terrible. So there were two whole episodes without the storyline or just one? I don't remember DAYS doing anything like that when I watched

It was one. People say its a Higley thing. Thank god she didnt do this on OLTL. Another cliffhanger had Daniel and Jennifer on a date and the episode ends with her choking. The scene didnt pick back up till 2 episodes later. Time literally froze for these two

I don't think NOT showing Todd and Co today is such a big deal. IMO, it's all matter of viewer impatience. They were on all last week and I don't recall any show that I've ever watched feature the main story every single day. I'm guess they'll be back on tomorrow or the next day.

Anyway, I just watched today's show and I didn't think it was boring, but then my perspective may be different. I'm out all day and I DVR the show and skip by the commercials. The show goes by too fast to me.

Wow, that's pretty ridiculous. That's a big cliffhanger. That would be like ending Friday's show with everyone seeing RH, and not showing them again until tomorrow lol.

But we got the phrase "Folder F_ck" out of it.

I do. But I honestly don't see any way, or reason, for her to return at this point. I've watched soaps for many, many years, starting with Santa Barbara in the 80's and I honestly don't recall any other character being destroyed like OLTL destoryed Marty. To make matters worse, it was done without a legitimate explanation and in a matter of months simply to give other actors a story. I will never get over that.

On a different note, I love that Rex is too busy chasing ghost Zhee Zhee and running around with a gun to take care of Shane, but went through the trouble of strong-arming Clint into blackmailing Dorian into releasing Echo becasue Shane needs his grandmother. Seriously? How about Shane needing his father? And where is Roxy?

And as much as I love me some Clint and Viki, as a lawyer, the courtroom scenes on this show make me want to pull my hair out. They are beyond rediculous. For starters, a DA who is a defendant's ex-wife and sister-in-law would never be on the case! Nora really is the worst attorney, ever!

Now they're having The women of The View pimp The Chew. Unreal.

Sadly, showkillers like Rex do more to promote non-soap programming than Baba and the various dim bulbs ever could.
