I wonder if AMC will adopt OLTL's filming schedule since Frank Valentini has a stake in both soaps now?

Okay, so I couldn't help myself I had to come back to this thread and post after reading Errol's post. This dissemination of information over the last several months regarding PP, AMC and OLTL has been BEYOND frustrating for information seeking individuals like myself. I don't know what to believe and I don't know which source is more credible over the next. Rumors and speculation seem to have become the norm for PP and I have to hold them a bit accountable for not denying or confirming most of the information we have received. I know, PP feels they don't owe the fans anything but since the fans are going to be the ones that make this venture a huge success or an embarrassing failure by either watching or not, they need to totally step up. Errol actually gave me a glimmer of hope by saying AMC 2.0's relaunch is now set for March 2012 and I can accept that. Hopefully, this all works out and I swear this time I am not going to stress myself out about it. I want AMC back but I have to make sure I don't set myself up again to be disappointed.

I watch at my desk top. I have a nice 21" Mac and a nice chair. So every day or maybe I skip a day I just go to hulu for OLTL and NBC.com for DOOL and it's very easy. If you miss a few days and want to catch up no problem. There are commercial breaks but never more than 60 seconds, and you can use that minute to do whatever.

I find it very natural now and prefer this to watching on TV. I tend to watch late night when there are no distractions.

Me, too. I watch GH on YouTube thanks to an excellent uploader "SimplyGH." She puts it in two commercial free 15 minute segments. If she doesn't have it up, I watch Chynado||'s channel which has it in 4 parts. Both channels have it in crystal clear HD. I usually watch anywhere between 5:30-8pm, depending on when the episode is up, when I choose to get started on dinner or if I have anything else planned for the evening. I quit my church choir last week, but up until then, if I had a 7 or a 7:30 rehearsal (depending on the night of the week), I'd literally watch it right up until I had to leave, while getting my things together. For me, it seems like a segue into the evening/night routine for me.

Interesting. I guess it won't be so hard then. I did used to have an A&E Intervention/Hoarders streaming routine every Tuesday night. I guess it's just about finding your groove and sticking with it.

*imagines R. ripping off his choir robe and throwing a hymnal at the choir director, "Fuggit, I quit this bitch!", punches piano keys on way out*

Still in denial over here but OLTL is on fire again today why does ABC want to cancel this show

So PP is just going to leave us twisting in the wind hoping for the best??? That doesn't make sense to me.

It doesn't profit them to admit that they aren't moving ahead with AMC. It doesn't make it any easier to raise money and it alienates a part of their intended customer base.

Maybe if PP never goes forward with any soap or even TOLN itself, we will never get any press release saying that they have given up and the news/rumor speculation will continue for years in a endless loop.

I really am amazed by some of these posts. lol I'd like to remind everyone it wasn't PP that decided to last air AMC in Sept and OLTL in January, that decision was made by ABC. PP is just dealing with a timeframe ABC set up for them. I am sure PP wanted to launch AMC in January and I really believe if Susan Lucci signed on a bunch of other actors would have as well and there wouldnt be this actor issue, but the "star" of the show did not, and so far, too few actors have either. So it makes complete sense to postpone plans to launch it. What do some of you on here want PP to do? Launch AMC in January with all recasts? Also with the timeframe ABC decided, and the fact so many OLTL actors signed up along with HW and EP, they can easily make the transition with an ABC finale on a Friday and a Monday premiere online. A seamless transition has allowed OLTL to convince their actors to sign on because there isn't the endless months of the unknown as is the case with AMC.

If ABC had canceled OLTL in Sept and AMC in January, we very well could be in a reverse situation we have now.

The dilema PP is in is the cause of ABC's decision to cancel AMC in Sept, as it allowed production to completly wrap up and that caused so much uncertainty for the AMC cast and crew. I believe AMC's best hope for an online future is to hope and pray OLTL-online is a HUGE SUCCESS and maybe that will convince La Lucci and top AMC stars to sign on to the project and if you have to wait until a summer premiere I'd say you'd be getting a much better show rather if they rush it with an online version of recast roles or all new charcters. Hopefully you wont have to wait until OLTL premieres online before you get answers when AMC will launch, although with so few actors it doesn't look good for a premiere anytime soon, and thats not PP's fault, its the timeframe ABC set up for them that caused all of this.
