That is my observation, too, Angela. I just chalk it up to some just prefer to critique fellow posters more than debate the shows.

Excuse me? Like you did when you criticized me for saying that "sexist" remark about Chrishell's "perky boobs?" When, actually, it was a female poster who originally said it that I was quoting? Or criticized others for coming down on that same female poster's comment about Kassie dePaiva's two faces? You've done a bit of poster critiquing yourself. Aligning yourself with a biased "moderator" who likes to stir the pot, herself, doesn't change that. So, please take your hypocrisy and grassroots clique and go sit down someplace.

Saying jy is snobby to take a job in a horrible economy is most ludricrious thing ever. He has a child to support and are u paying his damn bills. This was a no brainer IMO. So wait he's snobby cause he wants to eat, pay rent and provide his child. How can somebody say something so stupid.

+1

Yeah heaven forbid he want to pay the bills and feed his baby. Some are acting like it's a crime to turn down PP, when like JY said it's so uncertain.

I guess Debbi Morgan is a snob too

Thats the problem no offense but we as fans have no right to or to expect answers about how much actors are getting paid or how much the pay rate is

I believe they are contracts that go into affect as soon as AFTRA deal closes

I think Cam is believing everything they tell him. If AMC debuts online in January I'll take back everything I said, but it's highly, highly doubtful

The guy annoys me to no end. I snicker at how he thinks everything is going to be a bed of roses online.

Honestly, even OLTL premiering in January seems difficult. They would need to start filming in November/December and we don't know how fast things are moving behind the scenes. I think OLTL will get a good amount of actors to sign on, but they need to start getting creative with who to bring back. They could probably get Cassie back, so I'd ask her. Also, Tina and Cord have been GREAT so why not attempt to sign them on? Catherine Hickland is fabulous and could be moved in a new direction if Hilary B. Smith and Bob Woods decide to leave. Maybe they could put her in stories with Tina and Cord. Plus you have CJ and Sarah waiting in the wings if they wanna make that family work. I just don't believe they'll be creative enough to do that.

Now AMC, no matter how much is happening behind the scenes, there is no way in hell. I just can't see it being possible. I'd focus on OLTL and launch AMC later (either as the original, a spin-off or just do a new soap).

Got this from another board

In the new SOW, TC (Aubrey/Christine) says she said no to going online. She's not staying.

First, I apologized for that misquoting you on the sexist remark.

Secondly, that poster was critcizing an ACTRESS and was crucified for daring to criticize one of your sacred cows.

I barely know Angela outside of a few debates in the ratings thread. I just happened to agree here with her ON YOUR behavior. In my experience, she's right YOU who repeatedly prefer to snark at/criticize fellow posters versus stick to discussing the topic at hand. Case in point your posts in this thread.

And excuse me, where the heck do you get off telling anyone where to SIT? What gall!

I detest Tina but I can see Tina, Cord, CJ and Sarah as a core family on PP.

However, please no Rapparoaches on PP. I had hoped we had cleaned OLTL of that infestation for good.

AMC would have to have the cast ready within 4 weeks at this point to begin shooting to make a January debut. Unless there are TONS more going on behind the scenes than we know, AMC being ready to shoot in a month or so doesn't sound feasible. Of course we are the last that need to know anything. I assume that there is indeed more going on than we have been told but less than what is needed to get to shooting in mid/late November.

I'm shocked Terri Conn said no. Granted she is young and has never attempted to work outside of daytime, but I expected her to say yes.
