Anyone else think this is Barbara Walters?

It wouldn't surprise me. Baba Wawa is such a company gal, she'll say anything to suck up to ABC execs. I just don't understand why she thinks a viewer should ever believe anything she has to say since she admitted she was going to lie about why Star Jones was leaving The View (ostensibly to protect Star, but obviously to protect ABC).

Wawa is a tool.

I would take marceline's advice and let this all play out. Neither Susan Lucci nor her career will suffer because of her actions. She's moving toward bigger and better things. If anyone should be worried, it should be Brian Frons. The further we go along, the more of a liability he becomes to ABC.

And I hope he never is unless its to bring back Lily and/or Reggie to the canvas.

As much as the show can't stand to lose another veteran, I wouldn't be upset if Jack was written out. I think he holds Erica back. I think it's time to move on from that pairing.

Well I hope this puts to rest the rumors about contracts and such and how PP offered Lucci a big deal etc. although her situation could be different. Can I say and I am alone perhaps that I am glad PP is taking their time with this and not just going out and hiring everyone and actually planning. What a refreshing change. And I hope people elsewhere get off Jacob Youngs case now for going to B&B.

They may of told her what the offer maybe but are waiting to finalize the agreement with AFTRA before making Actual Offers

All actors got proposals from PP on how they plan to shoot the shows, WW even said this on an interview with WGN Chicago

I think others are waiting to see whether SuLu will sign before they do so. If she mulls over PP's offer and passes, I expect others (at AMC, and probably OLTL, too) to follow suit.

I'm not sure that's true. I love SuLu but I'm the first person to admit that Erica often comes across as an anachronism. I think there are just as many people who find the character annoying and cartoonish as love her. Having Erica pop in every now and then a la Joe and Ruth would be great but if PP is serious about creating a product that will attract new viewers then they need to start succession planning for a show without Erica Kane.
