Agree. It's the same as when fangurls and such complain that any given day on their show was "slow" and "boring" just because their faves weren't featured.

OMG! Yes. In another conversation forum that I frequent they have a STFU! emoticon. It gets used too. Not about the soaps, but in other general conversations.

Every time someone writes "Oh, the show was boring today, so and so wasn't on", I want to write, STFU. Guess that wouldn't be politically correct here and especially not on SOC.

Reading stuff like this makes me want to say STFU, cause people watch for what they watch and it's no one's business but theirs if they find the show boring if their favs aren't on. Theyre CLEARLY getting some enjoyment in some aspect of the show, let them enjoy it.

I agree it is their business, but they make it everyone's business when they post it online. Anyway, stop taking it personally. I was being facetious.

See, if you had that emoticon you could have just clicked it. I would have gagged, but hey.........smile.png

UGH that interview, both need to STFU and stop their whining. You don't see Jacob Young whining about his craptacular storyline or Jamie Luner, Trent Garrett or Michael Nouri whining about their lack of storyline

LH is at least less annoying than Jordi "they told me I'm the second coming" Vilasuso is

Wow.

Yup.

(I don't know if we're referring to the same thing but that's pretty much what I've been thinking.)

Speaking of which, I hope OLTL keeps Rama. I think she could make a great vixen/schemer. I think part of the problem these shows have had bringing in minorities is that viewers aren't that open to characters that aren't part of the main families. People immediately start with "why is this person on my show". Maybe that will change with the online versions.

The problem with Rama was they very quickly took away the only thing that most viewers were interested in with her (her relationship with Vimal) and threw her at Cristian, making her yet another generic, desperate bimbo with no morals and no chemistry with her leading man. OLTL already had plenty of these. Months later, after continuing to throw away any potential so she could have pointless scenes with non-characters like Cris, Cutter, and Aubrey, they brought Vimal back, but it was too late. Vimal is also written as a plot device, with no reason to care about him.

I think viewers are more than happy to accept characters who aren't part of main families. I never heard any viewers demanding that David be a Buchanan, or Rex be a Buchanan. That's more on the show and their laziness. And many viewers liked Sky, Fish, Kyle - all characters ABC dumped and treated the actors like crap.

The show is mostly interested in rapists/jerks and the women who obsess over them. Everyone else is going to take a backseat.

Interesting. Looks like Susan Lucci is having her last day today. Everyone else had there's yesterday? Hmm.

Last day of shooting here at AMC..doesn't seem real. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all our passionate viewers. Love you. Susan...

Something is in the works. Susan Lucci deleted this tweet from her timeline. Hmm.

I would assume Lucci might have posted after the fact. Or she just might be filming some post-show stuff no one else was a part of because she is LaLucci and the only original cast member that was still active at the end.

This part makes me feel ALOT better

In a separate interview with TVGuide.com last week, Nixon said there was no question that the stories of Pine Valley's finest should not draw to a close so much as leave you wanting to know more. "Wrapping up the run on ABC wasn't as important to me as keeping the show interesting!" she said with a laugh. "We did not wrap everything up with people fading into the sunset with happy endings. It's a continued story and the last episode, we think, will make people want to come back very much to get some answers!" (Viewers can, however, count out another natural disaster hitting Pine Valley. "Oh, no, no, no," Nixon said. "True to what I feel has been part of the character of All My Children is that the cliff-hangers are related to characters and personal emotions. I don't hanker after tornadoes!")

I am so curious about what all these cliffhangers will be! Susan said there's going to be "several" of them. I was thinking everyone would just be in one place at one time but it's starting to not seem that way....interesting. This is just way to top secret for my tastes, LOL. I need details!

Love what Susan had to say about possibly staying with the show. She said herself that her heart is still with AMC. I love that & it gives me hope that she'll stay!

Ugh...cliffhangers!! So what about those who can't follow it online?? They are going to be left in limbo...way to go PP.
