Bonnie Finnegan is a BIG name in casting, and I think she only did original casting for RP. I'm almost positive she won't be handling AMC. But maybe one of the others? There are always former soapers like Mary Clay Boland and Rob Decina too.

Is Bob Lambert still the associate for AMC? But you're right, they could just have Julie Madison and Tori Visgilio doing double duty for both shows, i.e., a Head CD for both shows and more associates like in the old days when Joan cast AMC and OLTL. They say otherwise, but I still sense there will be some significant production cuts made for these shows.

Their casting IMO sucks.

Mark Teschner is the best soap casting director out there. Granted he's not available at this point but maybe they should have looked at someone who works for him or with him. Of course we don't know who PP is going to use. Maybe, here is a concept, someone new and fresh,

I have to say, I am incredibly intrigued about the *prospect* of them losing a significant amount of cast requiring them to introduce a new family or two. Sort of like Y&R's renaissance back in the early '80s I guess? If some new characters represented the underrepresented on daytime, all the better. To what degree are ABC's grubby hands off this bitch?

I do think the show could use a break from Kendall, but I like that she's supportive of the show and seems to really want to make it work. I just wish they'd make Kendall the scheming vixen she SHOULD be. Not the crying heroine she was turned into. Didn't SMG's Kendall once fake/attempt a suicide to hold onto, who was it? Anton? Where's THAT Kendall? I'm all for maturing a character but don't outright change them, even with a recast.

She grew up. With everything she's been through, experienced and evolved, it wouldnt make sense to start writing her like that again. They might as well bring in a new character to play a scheming vixen bc that is not who Kendall is today nor should she be. She works best as an anti-heroine today in 2011 as opposed to the way she was almsot 20 years ago in 1993. She's a mother, a career woman, actually has friends, family that loves her, etc... She doesnt have a reason to fight and isnt against the world anymore. That inner turmoil and conflict which was core to her when she first joined is no longer there and it wouldnt be right to protray her as such just bc thats how she used to be. People change...it happens

    • Does Search for Tomorrow ever list the cast in its end credits? I watched about fifteen videos from 1985 to look at the cast credits at the end and I never saw any except for Mary Stuart's credit. I try not to google cast members if there's a chance I might watch a soap so I don't spoil exits.
    • Jeez louise, they overdid it with the music in late 1985. Wendy's self-loathing episode on Dec. 6 is "underscored" (if we can call it that) to the end theme from Scarface, of all movies.
    • It's always hot when he's onscreen
    • True. So it must be the heat.   LOL. Oh, you.
    • That's a lousy ad. They didn't even choose good headshots. That's the least attractive I've seen Gregory Harrison look in his entire career. He looked hotter on GH last year! And CBS would keep bringing over ABC or NBC actors (more often ABC) for their soaps, further gutting their identities. Sad all around. Of course, they are the only network to have more than one soap on the air, so who am I to judge?
    • He always looks a snack to me lol!  Yes Blue is his color for sure! Those arms of his are huge *must not think dirty thoughts*
    • Maybe trying to ramp up the nostalgia factor? The only original characters left on the show were Angela, Lance, and Chao-Li. But FC hadn’t been watched by too many since 1987 and the finale didn’t bring back any old living characters like Emma, Cole, Peter Stravos etc.
    • 5-13   That was kinda meh except for the coda. Liam figuring out that Hope knows he's dying. And ending it on that. Good acting.   Oh, Luna. smh. But I guess I do look forward to see how she expects to wiggle her way into Finn's life. And uh oh at Sheila and seeing the wheels start to turn again. Honestly, he's been looking like a whole snack the last few weeks. And I can't decide if it's just the heat here lol or if he's just been working out more than usual.  But blue and shades of it has been such a great color on him.
    • For the Nurses Ball, I don't like what GH has done in recent years having U/5 professional dancers in the back of all the staged numbers -- nobody we recognize but they are wearing medical garb wardrobe as they dance alongside the GH characters. I'd prefer to see only the GH characters dancing and singing imperfectly.
    • Oh that's a good point! I was saying only that I'd prefer that the product placement not be heavily featured by the cameraperson during a stressful scene, because it takes me out of the moment. I don't mind it being part of the background of scenes -- most of the time, I like it. I saw a similar tweet from another BTG viewer that said something along the lines of Tide being for when there is (emotional) mess to clean up...  and Febreze is for the calming after the mess.
