I just stumbled upon the fact that Jeff Trachta (Thorne #2) was bumped to recurring in 1994 and was also still recurring in 1995. However, he was still on the opening credits.
Some old article about him also mentions the fact: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-07-02-tv-19360-story.html

The credits in May 1995 went as follows:

Kimberlin Brown – Sheila Carter Forrester
Ian Buchanan – Dr. James Warwick
Darlene Conley – Sally Spectra
Bobbie Eakes – Macy Alexander
Susan Flannery – Stephanie Forrester
Michael Fox – Saul
Schae Harrison – Darla
Katherine Kelly Lang – Brooke Logan Forrester
John McCook – Eric Forrester
Ronn Moss – Ridge Forrester
Dylan Neal – Dylan Shaw
Chris Robinson – Jack Hamilton
Michael Sabatino – Anthony Armando
Hunter Tylo – Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester
Maitland Ward – Jessica Forrester
...
Jeff Trachta – Thorne Forrester
Ken Hanes – Mike Guthrie
Brian George – Ahmed
Various Models
Kimiko Cazanov – Trish
Jeff Allin – Lt. Burke
Maeve Quinlan – Megan
Michael Clark Duncan – Slash

Thank you very much for the files!

However the old files were much better quality than the newer ones. Now it really sucks and causes many issues like lost frames, lags and resolution issues and it happens with all of my video players. The whole material became very laggy, so my eyes are really in pain. Something is wrong with codecs or with the rendering options. I believe we can help you with that.

I don't have much experience with rendering, but the perfect size for 1 episode is like 250-350MB if possible and the size of 200MB is absolute minimum to make it at least acceptable to watch. Less than 100MB videos look even worse than the official Youtube uploads. Obviously 1GB is too big to collect all of these episodes, but in the other hand the quality is also important. If someone hasn't enough disk space then should change the video quality to lower by himself or there should be another folder with very low quality episodes.

Yes, unfortunately I also noticed Lower quality in comparison with earlier uploads (1418-1425 it was 720p HD, from 1430 it is like 500p or so) but given the policy of not complaining I am not and it is what it is, we could be left with no episodes at all so I still prefer Lower quality instead of nothing. We used to be spoiled by the precious previous contributor and we got used to high quality too easily...

Dude. You were the one complaining that the videos were not coming fast enough. You could have waited until @rsclassicfanforever uploaded them in the quality you like. They are very reliable but they are entitled to have things going on in their life. @anon4520graciously uploaded the episodes. Then you complained the file size is too big and it takes too long to convert. Then @anon4520came back and converted them all and reuploaded them in a smaller size. Now you complain that the quality is not good enough! Just stop, please. Just because you write "I am not complaining, but...." doesn't mean you aren't complaining.

This is very unfair to the uploaders. People use their own money to buy VPNs, videoland subscriptions and their time to record, encode, and upload videos. I could not blame @anon4520if they never wanted to volunteer again after this.

I have always been patient because I know we have such an awesome community here and someone ALWAYS comes through with the episodes, we have not missed one yet. Who cares if we have to wait, they are 30 years old, lol.

If you want to get perfect quality videos uploaded quickly then maybe you should consider getting an account and recording your own and uploading them?

The thing is I did not came with complaining about the quality of the videos, read more carefully and maybe you will notice who wrote about it first. I don't care about waiting either, I can wait half a year or a year I don't mind really since yes, they are 30 Years old. My Mouth are shut from now on and I will not say a thing, that's a guarantee. Make your own discussion and complaining.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
