I even cried for Bucky when he left and I am really not much of a crier (unless some huge tragedy happens). What a night for Reality TV. Ryan, of course, would think he would just go to the team he thought was safe. But Taylor was smart. He knew that Ryan would say, "I'm sorry" as soon as he appeared to make his choice, which, Ryan did. Ryan Seacrest looked like the biggest JACKASS when he said, "I'm sorry" and then Taylor went to the other group. I think Taylor was just waiting for Ryan to say the magic words to psych HIM out. It was very clever and, more important, it serves Ryan right for DOING THAT TO POOR TAYLOR. Go Taylor, you rock, man! Standards this week and the greatest love songs of all time next week. Next week should have been Top 40, or Disco Night. I guess they want 2 shows back to back that really show off the contestants vocal ablility? Chris and Paris will probably be in the bottom 3 again. Standards, Soul and Jazz are Kat, Elliott and Taylor's element and it just seems fishy that they are doing back to back "vocal" shows, not that I am complaining, because those are my 3 faves. Ace was going to go soon, but Kellie should have gone before him. I just don't understand this fascination with Kellie. She's not that good a singer and her country bumpkin attitude is very annoying. I'm very worried about Chris. Seems like AI is trying to get him off the show. If so, I will stop watching! How on Earth are people voting for Kellie Pickles, She sucks. People stop voting for this idiot Carrie Underwood wannabe. Taylor, and especially Kellie DO NOT DESERVE the top 3. Kellie is horrible, she should have gone weeks ago, or not been in the finals at all. Also Taylor should have gone a week or 2 ago when he was absolutely sucking. Kellie Pickler sucks! She cannot sing. Her personality is very irritating. Her accent is like nails on a chalkboard. She is fake as hell. She's the worst person to get this far on IDOL ever. Carrie is sweet and virginal, while Kellie deliberately plays up her naive skank country bumpkin persona. They're NOTHING alike! I might add: I don't think it's all an act. Take her commetn to Rod, for example. "You've taken a load off my chest." She said that instantly without thought. So she's genuinely silly like that. Mixed metaphors. Now, she would've been fake (and obvious) had she said, "You shot a load off my chest" or "You're shooting a load off my chest," or something similar in a different situation. Members JONNYSBRO Posted April 20, 2006 Members Share Posted April 20, 2006 I actually think the winner of American Idol is an easy choice: KATHARINE MCPHEE. IMO she has the entire package. She has looks, personality and the best vocals. Her star performances during the standards and 50's week have been great. I will say I did not love Chris Daughtery this week. I think the problem with Chris is that he might have peaked too soon. He was great the first few weeks but has stumbled in the last weeks. IMO the final is a no brainer if it is between Katharine and Chris but Katharine has the total edge. I think she could be a massive massive star. She kind of reminds me a little of Katie Holmes.
