Kellie will be around until the end. She is Vote for the Worst's next pick (or was). Which is an empty pick because she doesn't need them to stick around.

So I know I said I'd stop the AOL poll results cause they sucked but they are actually decent (somewhat) this time.

1. Chris

2. Katharine

3. Kellie

4. Taylor

5. Mandisa

6. Elliot

7. Ace

8. Paris

9. Lisa

10. Bucky

IA with those that say Taylor is overated. I see nothing appealing about him

Pickler gets on my nerves. I really want her out next. I dont see her going anytime soon bc it looks like she was VotefortheWorst.com's backup if Kevin went home. Add their votes plus the fact that she actually have fans means more of this annoying wannabe

Kellie's country cornpone is all an act. She knows middle America loves that type of character so they'll vote for her. The Pickler is faker than breast implants.

AI's next winner needs to be someone different. No syrupy pop singers, no R&B diva wannabes, no cheesy country blondes. So that's why I'm pulling for Chris or Taylor. We need a guy, someone different to shake things up. I don't see it happening, the voters keep playing it safe.

I don't buy into Kelly's *I'm SO innocent* act either. I think she's an alright singer, but definitely not as good a singer as Carrie Underwood.

I don't agree with Simon that she'll be in the top 3, at leat I hope she's not.

I'd like for Chris, Katharine, Taylor and Mandisa to be the last ones left in the finals.

I simply love Mandisa! I hope she makes it pretty far, though I doubt she will win. I think the final 3 will be:

3. Mandisa (my vote for runner up)

2. Katherine (I don't know why but I just don't like her)

1. Chris (loved him from day 1)

I'm ready for Bucky, Paris, Ace, and Kellie to go (throw Katherine in there too). There's something about Lisa that I like though she doesn't have the strongest voice. Elliot is a pretty good singer I just can't stand looking at him. He's really goofy looking. Taylor I don't mind just cause he's crazy and brings some energy to the show.

I could see Mandisa being in 3rd place, following in the footsteps of the lovable Kim Locke, Vonzell, and Jasmine. Final three has been someone lovable and someone you're sad to see go more often than it hasn't (Nikki. !@#$%^&*]!)

I read this thread, but try not to post... cuz i'm usually in the minority and would prefer not to be cussed at just because i have an opinion. that said, IMHO, Kevin should have left last week. Melissa should still have been in this week, but that's not how it went soooo going by this week's performance, I felt Kevin should not have gone home, and despite my mother voting for him i dont know how many times, he's gone. and btw, i stopped voting after Patrick and whoever the girl was I voted for that week. I've determined that my vote is the kiss of death, and i will not waste my time :P I think it will be Bucky leaving next week, or at least that is my hope. And in case you were wondering, next week's them is 21st century

    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. They're connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters.
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
    • My hunch is what you've described. JFP is likely back working on transitioning the show to a new studio and embracing new technology for its production model.
    • The woman who was the co-chair of Latinas for Trump is now complaining about his targeting immigrants that she thought were "safe." I also read a puff piece from yet another "insider" journalist who lives to normalize fascists - this one with a tech bro who was venting off the record because he thought voting for Trump was cool and would show up the Democrats and maybe we'd get Greenland, but now he's getting upset.  These people still support Trump, and Republicans, they just want to make sure they get credit for being respectable. And they will get it.
    • I really do wish someone could. Just a few characters in very simple backdrops, with very real problems that are just a little larger than life, like the '50s and '60s. All the characters having a level of dignity or respect. And their inner lives are what dominate the story, even if there are outside forces at play.
    • It's a lesson to never be loyal because once your use is up, you're shown the door. MSW was the only bright spot for CBS for awhile, and once they were back on top... they promptly sabotaged the show as a repayment for all that the show had done for the network.
    • The show made a mistake in not bringing in more McKinnon kids, specifically bringing back Ben. Kathleen was leaving, and while I like you am very fond of Sally Spencer as MJ, that didn't seem to be a common view. They also decimated the character in a truly sick storyline. So that just left Cheryl.
    • Between Gwen and Cat, the show often seems to side with those who cause lots of cruelty to Jack and Jennifer. I am half-surprised that the show hasn't brought Peter Blake back for more of the same.  I don't really know if there is a purpose for them in Salem now, but I do feel a sense of stability and rightness when Melissa Reeves is back in the role of Jennifer and back in the Horton house, in spite of...well, a lot of offcamera stuff we all know perfectly well.
    • I like to call her an FC-reject character
