I'm going out on a limb, but best decision ever was to bring Guiding Light castoffs Jerry ver Dorn and Kim Zimmer onto the show, and yes that is the GL fan boy in me that is saying this. To see both actors turning in top notch performances, it's as if my show was never canceled. :P

No, no, I'm betting the next follow up for Des and Matthew happens on the last episode in January, when Destiny reveals to Matthew they now have a child together.:o

Yes! They could carry an entire web series with nary a third cast member. If ABC owns these characters, they should seriously consider the occasional Valentine to the fans by doing abc.com webisodes from time to time. Inexpensive and good PR.

MichaelGL, I agree that JVD and KZ (as well as BK) have been awesome additions to the show. They are the ones I could watch all day. And SE may not be the strongest little actress yet I find her and EA so much more watchable than any other youth-early 30s story on the show. Probably because their stories rely on honest emotion and not a bunch of pop/flash, camp, and sex (well after today...).

BTW, James and Deanna were downright corny yukkin' it up watching that movie in the beginning.

WTF! When the heck did Tess annul her marriage to Ford and when did she marry Cutter? These things take time, not in less than a day!

Echo to Viki "How could you do this to me" BITCH please! Major eyeroll here. Just imagine it :rolleyes::rolleyes:

God forgive me, but you would've thought I'd been hit with the holy spirit when I saw Destiny takes Matthew's hand. As Sofia from "The Color Purple" would say, "I know t'ere is a Gawd!".

Some quick additional notes: Erika Slezak, Kim Zimmer and Brian Kerwin all deserve Emmys for their work in this storyline. Erika for the last month from the day Viki learned the truth, and Zimmer and Brian Kerwin for today alone, in which they were both perhaps the best I've ever seen them, and they're good to begin with. But Zimmer went to a place I can't remember ever seeing her go - for example, I think Laura Wright learned a lot from Kim Zimmer at GL, but she never learned how to let go and have vulnerability beneath the bombast, and Zimmer can do that. She was like an exposed nerve.

The real shame of these scenes is that OLTL chose to take Charlie out of the picture so quickly. This is a fine character and an incredible actor who have been totally abused, and they could've done a lot more with Viki and Charlie to end the show on them (though I understand ending the show on Viki and Clint and like ES/JVD together, I do not think it's absolutely necessary - and were the show continuing, I wouldn't reunite them beyond a tease), or they could've played a triangle with Viki, Charlie and Clint had OLTL gone on, or any number of things. I personally would've found someone else to hook him up with in the last seven months, just to keep Kerwin and his talent around and to give Charlie a happy ending - Carlotta? Some relative of the Evans family? Tonya Pinkins ain't on AMC.

Charlie and Roxy should have happened ages ago, back when she lied and said he was Rex's father. I was hoping that lie would end up being the truth and the twop would get together. I thought they had some good, fun chemistry. But as usual, Roxy always gets the shaft. No love interest and now no kids. She's lucky if she even gets an appearance here and there

I just hate this storyline so much. And I really, really hate when awful people keep getting rewarded for their awful behavior. Both in real life and in fiction. It’s not right. Say what you will about Sonny and Carly, but they’ve at least somewhat paid for their awful behavior. Not as much as they should but it was still more than this. How can anyone treat someone that they claim to care about so terribly? And then just not care at all about that person or what they did to them? Over at Days, I hated it when Ciara did it to Theo and I hated it when Craig did it to Nancy. But Joss is worse than the two of them put together. It’s like she not even human. I find her to be even worse than Carly. I know Carly has problems being a decent person too, but she would never treat the people that she says she cares about the way that Joss treated Cam and now to a lesser extent, Spencer and Michael. And honestly, I want Joss to suffer worse than any person on GH ever has.  I have absolutely no idea what the writers, or Frank are thinking with the way this storyline is being written. And do they seriously think that this consolation prize crap of Cam going to play soccer for Stanford (and Trina constantly reminding us of it) makes everything better? It doesn’t.
    • I hesitate to post Thompson, who is just a gleeful gossip hound. But this thread is instructive, even if much of it is stuff we all could've told the GOP and the NY Times six months ago.
    • Sure. They've been sent to live on a farm with other not gone actors where they can run and play.
    • From what I can find, Tim was datie Evie but got a job offer out of town that was too good to pass up and left in Nov 76. No mention of Pam and no reason I could see that a marriage would be mentioned later. I just checked Soap Central and there is an entry stating Evie left town and Pam and Tim were married. Not so.This is not the first false entry I have come across at that site. Someone takes delight at posting false info.
    • She's under Ryan (I added this).  Pam married Tim at some point-- from what I read. If not, let me know.
