April 24, 201114 yr Member Back off, sister. Khan's MINE! *Khan can be the random latina woman watching in horror* Edited April 24, 201114 yr by SoapBoy94
April 24, 201114 yr Member Now, now, ladies, there's plenty of Khan to go around! [/porn star] At this point, it's probably a losing battle, but I refuse to blame David Hayward for everything unless it's proven he was directly involved and/or forced (through threats and intimidation) others into committing outrageous and unspeakable acts. Otherwise, it's just a variation of the whole "Coopers GOOD! Spauldings BAD!" mentality that (IMO) led to GUIDING LIGHT's downfall and eventual cancellation under David Kreizman's watch.
April 24, 201114 yr Member You don't even have to look that far. It's just another variation of Martins=Good, Chandlers=Bad. Not to mention "That house is TOXIC! We must get [Colby, Babe, Marissa, Emma, AJ, Fabergé egg collection] out of that house! That house will RUIN them! They never stood a chance the minute they entered that house!" And there could very well be enough of you to go around, Khanny... but who says I like to share? Edited April 24, 201114 yr by R Sinclair
April 24, 201114 yr Member AMC Week in Review: http://abc.go.com/shows/all-my-children/week-in-review When it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below! Funniest Moment: The moment when Angie didn't realize that David had entered her apartment and picked up her baby. She thought he was Randi. That's not funny, necessarily, but: didn't she notice the temperature drop 30 degrees when David entered? We always thought that's what happened when David entered any room. WTH? Moment: Jesse flipping out on Tad and Jake, because he's so stressed about the secret he's keeping. Performer of the Week: Lindsay Hartley as Cara Finn, once again showing how this tiny woman is NOT somebody you want to cross. And that goes for her family too, Kendall. Best Moment: Kendall telling Griffin to let her go and save himself and not to worry about her. The sparks between those too are almost visible. Why We Love All My Children This Week: Erica's captivity has us riveted. Especially the terrifying implication that Miranda was in danger if Erica didn't comply. So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week! I was over the "Erica missing" s/l before it ever even started. BORING

April 24, 201114 yr Member You don't even have to look that far. It's just another variation of Martins=Good, Chandlers=Bad. That, too. One thing I won't miss about today's soaps is the insistence on painting characters all one way or the other. Viewers aren't that simple-minded.
April 24, 201114 yr Member I was over the "Erica missing" s/l before it ever even started. To think, there was a time when AMC knew how to keep their audience riveted w/o resorting to stunts like this. I won't say I'm not sorry to see this show go, but I won't act like I'm surprised about it, either.

The foundation is still there for a very good show. And it still bothers me that AMC could've had more time if S&K's lousy writing hadn't driven ratings down so fast that they decided to kill this show along with OLTL. They've officially earned the label "showkillers."
April 24, 201114 yr Author Member I keep opening this thread and being startled by Miz Jesse up there. LMAO! Thats one of his ugliest expressions yet
April 25, 201114 yr Member Yeah but it didn't have to be this way. It really didn't. The foundation is still there for a very good show. ITA. Unfortunately, execs have never understood that you cannot turn around an entire soap opera virtually overnight. It takes time, getting the canvas back in decent shape, and getting the audience to "trust" the show again. In 1977, ABC gave Gloria Monty 13 weeks to salvage GH. I wonder how much time they'd give her now. Now, what's that supposed to mean?
