Me, too! Imo, it actually makes more sense for Emma to think Greenlee's trying to replace Annie than to just unconditionally love her stepmother, like she did a few years ago (I can't remember who was headwriting at that time).

I'm also loving Tad & Cara growing closer. I loved how he got her to relax a little. I also thought it was great that she could defend herself against the stabber until Tad arrived.

Kendall keeps going 2 steps forward and 1 back. She finally put the pieces together, but she should've called Ryan, Tad and/or Jesse by now with her suspicions about Ricky instead of letting him come find her on the boat!

See, I don't get the repeated posts in other threads about how MCE had her lips done, it's obvious she hasn't done anything to her lips. People who made those posts obviously don't ever wear lip gloss.

Nice to see Scott do something other than hold Madison's hand. Scott treating Griffin like dirt was fantastic!

Cara's reaction at KWAK's was extremely over the top, I thought she was about to have a seizure.

ETA: Kendall looked amazing in that park!

This Kendall S/L is soo much better now that she's putting stuff together! Great for her finally finding that secret note Zach left on the yacht. I mean...why did the show wait this long?? Why couldn't she have found it the last time she was there looking for it?! But anyways, love how the show utilized the flashbacks of when Kendall was reading the first note (which Ricky tampered with). All of this is coming together really nicely, it will be awesome when Ricky is finally done with...which hopefully won't take to long to happen!

I don't see Greenlee as "feuding" with Emma, more like Emma feuding with her all by her lonesome, just because she's angry that her real mothers gone...while I love Emma hating on Greenlee & find it entertaining, I have respect for Greenlee as well for being as sane and & respectful with Emma as possible. She's not giving in to Emma's snottiness & being a snot right back to her. She's trying all she can to make things okay between them despite Emma's resistance. I like that.

wub.gif Yeah she did.

Speaking of the park, everyone was there today. LOL. Even Opal (which I thought was a nice surprise). I really like that park & love the spring/summer feel it brings to the show.

LOVED the scenes at the park where Cara & that stabber guy were fighting. Yay Tad for saving the day! I really liked the directing choices used in that scene, especially the low-angle shots of Tad after he fended off the stabber.

To be fair it was smarter than she's been in a while--and I think that little Opal scene was supposed to make Kendall's no longer feel suspicious towards RIcky, or as anyway--but yeah she shouldn't have gone off on her own.

Agreed--I'm loving the Emma/Greens feud, to be honest it feels pretty realistically written, I particularly liked that Greenlee got fed up with the nice routine pretty quickly, as she would. And her snapping at poor Madi.

As silly as it is to think of Tad being an ace private eye, I admit I loved all the Tad/Cara stuff (even that knife fight in broad daylight) today, some of ti despite myself and some I think was very well done.

Yes all of this should have happened in Feb sweeps (which had NOTHING happening...)

For a while they had stopped using the park for that cruddy park set I guess to make it look like Winter--but using the full park, while it's pretty ridiculous, does open up the show and I agree it looks gorgeous.

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. ** I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems. *** edit to add: The show never specified what Mona's job was for Nicole.  Home manager?  Office manager?  Head personal assistant?  I'm sure there would have been a title?    Mona asserted today her upset with Eva and with Leslie.  That they used her and ruined her reputation.  I just wish I knew what Mona's job was. If Mona was an official manager, then it would have made sense for Nicole to trust the recommendation, if Nicole thought Mona had done a proper hiring procedure.  But if Mona is just an informal helper, then why wouldn't Nicole order a background check?
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
    • Also, someone knocked over the head (usually in the D Mansion) and imprisoned in the secret tunnel room or whatever it was. I swear that must have happened at least a dozen times the last few years, and each time it drove me crazy!
    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And here I am rewatching and...

    • 5-9   Honestly? There's nothing going on. And yet unlike Y&R, I'm not bored. But I just think that's because of the acting going on as they play the beats in this Liam dying storyline. Well, that and the outfits.   If there's anything I'm liking it's the continued drama of Daphne going after Carter and not letting anyone get in her way. Not Brooke. Not Katie. NO ONE.    And while I love TK in those glasses, I am not here for a Brooke/Ridge/Taylee triangle.    And of course, Luna would try to use this Liam mess to get closer to Finn.   Okay week.
    • The acting during those Sarah scenes on Friday was horrific.
    • So true. Their hypocrisy is on another level. When Anita called Ted a coward because he used Bill as a fixer, I almost choked on my Ritz. And Dani calling Ted worse than Bill as a husband because Bill never pretended to be a good person? Then why stay with him for decades and continue to kiss up to him, Dani? I was glad when Bill told Anita he wouldn't be her punching bag. Not for me. I can think of 100 other actors who would have smoking hot chemistry with LB. Lindstrom does not. I see zero chemistry. None. Joey isn't sexy or scary.   -- Mona was awesome today. -- Why was Eva playing cards in the back room of the casino? -- Can they make Anita any more sanctimonious and self-righteous? -- Dani said Anita had Ted shook. LOL. Really?       No. But I see what you're trying to do. This is a SOAP OPERA. Characters HAVE to make mistakes and sin and screw up and cheat. That's the deal. I understand the concern that we have 2 leading Black men who have cheated on their wives. I do. But I also understand that this is SOAPS 101. Are we going to hear complaints every time a Black character messes up???
