Members alexisfan07
I disagree, I think both had some depth to their performances. Anytime we see emotional, crying Rex is a good day for me because it means he reaches beyond his schtick to emote something really meaningful. Members TeamEric
I agree. And RC's been building this story for 2 years with Todd then Blair admitting they used their kids as weapons. Then showing Jack growing more and more cynical about his parents, and even blackmailing both of them at different times. He's been shown bloodthirsty enjoying watching his mom go SPLAT out a window 100+ times. He's lied and been causing other troubles at school. His behavior has been escalating and escalating all the while T&B continued to neglect him. The writers today backed up what I've been saying by making Blair own her bad choices have damaged Jack: Blair: It's finally coming back to bite me. Starr: What are you talking about? Blair: My bad parenting... I have been completely selfish. Selfish and preoccupied. Making bad choices with bad men and Jack's behavior is my reward. Almost 2 years ago T&B finally both owned up to using the kids as weapons against each other. They stopped that damaging cycle. Blair is finally owning she's neglected Jack to chase her series of men. Now how comes the hardest part breaking a cycle she's been trapped in before she even met Todd. Members TeamEric
Actually I think Jack is just taking over the role Starr held pre-Cole. She was a very amoral BRAT but some viewers found it "cute" when KA was younger.
Members dragonflies
Didn't Starr once have a crush on Colin MacIver? or was it his brother?

Members Cheap21
yea one of Blair's former psychos. When the show turned him into a serial wiman killer, was a big WTF moment.
Members DRW50
I didn't think Blair and Troy were ever in any actual relationship. I can't remember now. The show's older actresses carry the day time and time again. I was at DC and they were hyping Farah Fath, as they did when Rex/Gigi were supposed to be the hot new supercouple. I don't think Gigi is any real burden to the show now, but in 2008 and 2009 she helped to kill a lot of momentum, along with the awful writing for most of her stories. OLTL still seems to have this lowered expectations thing going on where so many of their hires over the last few years are so bad that when they get slightly less bad it's seen as a miracle. Of course now that she's a little better that probably means she will be fired, as happens to most people on OLTL who can act.
Members TeamEric
Troy. Starr like Jack used to sneak out of home all the time and run around wild. She snuck out and wound up saving Troy from the big wheel he was tied to remember!
Members AlexElizabeth
Farah is doing better than I expected with this storyline. I still think she sucks, but she's getting more tolerable. I no longer want to watch The Talk when she's on.

Members DRW50
If they hadn't played all of this for laughs until the last few months it might have worked better.

Members TeamEric
Amoral and out of control Starr and her whacky parents, the new Adams ripoff, family complete with pet reptiles were far more played for laughs. Heck, ABC released dolls for them. Joke was on ABC when fans were outraged instead.
Members DRW50
Starr and Todd were played for laughs but Blair's reactions were more serious and finally they did stop acting like the dead baby lie was a joke. This time around, everything was made into a joke, even the KAD gang rape - just some air quotes for a chuckle. That's why the turn to this being more serious doesn't really work for me.
