Yeah, I think he will go to any length to get information from people. Like when he was talking about Rosie to that teacher, about her being a hot girl. He was acting like that was ok to perv on a student just to see what the teacher would say. If the teacher had gone along he would have been more of a suspect. I thought he was pretty slick in the way he got the info about where the kids really party out of those girls too. It's going to be interesting if he and Sarah are partnered up, since they have such different styles.

I thought it was pretty good. The best scene was the father going ballistic after finding out about Rosie and the mother is on the other side of the phone yelling/crying and the two kids looking at their mother. The music is that scene was so good too. I agree that new detective is weird but very intriguing.

For some reason, there are people who don't seem to believe that the creepy detective actually gave those girls real weed. I totally believe that he gave those girls actual weed. In the first two hours alone, the guy was quickly depicted as a scumbag willing to say or do anything to get information. And somehow I think the girls would have known if it wasn't real weed. Good show by the way!

There's no doubt in my mind. I don't see him as a scumbag though. I'm pretty sure pretending to be complicit is an actual interrogation technique. I had no problem when he pretended to be a perv to see if the teacher would go with it. Giving the girls weed crossed a line, but they weren't exactly innocent. The only thing he did that annoyed me was when he said to Sarah, "Is that why you are running away". That was a little presumptuous.

Well maybe I won't call him a scumbag but it's clear that he's quite shady at the very least. Shady enough to do whatever he wants to acquire whatever he wants. It's going to be fun to see what he does next as I think he will continue to be very shady throughout the season.

I imagine so. It seems to me Sarah is really the straight forward dogged type and that's probably going to be a source of continued conflict. That scene where we discovered the cage was creepy. It seems like the murder was some sort of sick game. I wonder if there will be another murder at some point?

I'm loving the twists on this show, every time I think I have the identity of the killer figured out, they always throw a curve ball at me.

I was thinking that maybe it could be the campaign aid, the male assistant to Billy Campbell's character.

    • Hopefully they can expand some of the sets again. I watched some 04/05 episodes and forgot how much more grand the production used to feel. I wonder if YR will be staying put or going there or somewhere else as well.
    • DAYS posted the recipe! https://www.instagram.com/p/DKiMVZvuZje/ dayspeacock June 5, 2025 Tomorrow is National Donut Day! Here’s Alice Horton’s famous recipe! #NationalDonutDay #Donuts #Recipe #DOOL #Days #Daysofourlives #TBT Ingredients: 2 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of milk 5 tablespoons melted shortening 1-teaspoon vanilla extract 4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted before measuring 4 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 1 stick butter, melted Cinnamon Sugar In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Stir in milk, shortening and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the wet ingredients, mixing well. Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes to one hour for easier handling. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Spray baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray. Roll out or pat the dough on a lightly floured board to a half inch thickness. Cut with a doughnut cutter. Place the doughnuts and holes on the baking sheet, one inch apart. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush each doughnut and doughnut holes with melted butter and roll in Cinnamon Sugar to coat all sides. Makes about 36 doughnuts. Cinnamon Sugar: 1 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of cinnamon In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, blending well.
    • "Jordan and Robert have the best brother chemistry. " They certainly did!  And that chemistry worked no matter who served as the protagonist in a given scene or story.  A shame that a full-blown story was never developed for those two.  Wouldn't have needed to be adversarial, either.  Maybe a serious, unexpected, long-term outside threat, business or personal, to one of the brothers with the other coming to his aid.

I was able to find most of them. I am not sure if you did 1974-1977 but I did not find it in the 70s thread. This is an amazing resource for EVERY soap.  1973 https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/41800-ratings-from-the-70s/page/78/#comments 1973 more research https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/41800-ratings-from-the-70s/page/80/#comments 1973 Update https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/41800-ratings-from-the-70s/page/82/#comments 1978 https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/50145-ratings-from-the-80s/page/135/#comments 1979-1988 https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/50145-ratings-from-the-80s/page/115/#comments 1989  https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/50145-ratings-from-the-80s/page/122/#comment-1876530 1990-1999  https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/58300-ratings-from-the-90s/page/11/#comments 2000-2004  https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/58300-ratings-from-the-90s/page/58/#comments
    • Mrs. H used the donuts to distract from the expensive jewels that she hid in the walls of her kitchen.  Now, it all makes sense...

I thought a smart cookie like Caroline Brady would've had the chance to hide a bauble of her own from her dalliance with Victor.
    • They need to get rid of the ugly pizza set. Thanks for the info!
