Wasn't Lorraine Broderick planning on doing an Erica imposter story late in 1997 and then it got dropped when she was replaced with McTavish? There was some hooker (Maggie?) that Erica was trying to get to take her place in prison because she looked like her, and it seemed like it might be leading to Maggie taking over Erica's life.

Broderick was actually about to do a Brooke imposter storyline, where Janet takes over her life. Given the great height difference btwn Barr and Mattson, it would've been ludicrous. This was supposed to be Mattson's exit story. Behr wanted her gone. Then when Francesca James took over, she put the kibosh on the story, kept Mattson around, and redeemed Janet via the Jonathan Kinder stuff.

In that case, I stand behind my original (joke) prediction: Jack will sleep with Nerica and not be able to tell the two apart, thus setting the stage for the termination of all things Jerica (because [Frons]no way will fans want Jack back with Erica once this happens[/Frons]). Frons wants Caleb/Erica to happen, IMO, even if it means sacrificing Jack's intelligence and the loyalty of Jerica fans.
