I cant wait!!

Thank you for voting! Blair 27.07% Jo 47.14% Natalie 14.11% Tootie 9.11% Other (see comments) 2.57%

Interesting how Jo is the clear favorite for the men. I voted for Jo. She was my favorite girl.

What about other cast members/frequent guests: Cloris Leachman, Molly Ringwald, Mackenzie Astin, and Geri Jewell, to name a few?

I like the TV Land awards. I'm thrilled we are going to see the Facts of life cast together. If Nany Mckeon (Jo) is really going to be there, then it's the first time they will all be together since Mrs. Garret left in 1986. Remember the only other time they have all been together was when they did the reunion movie and Nancy couldn't be there. I think i've seen three at a time on morning shows but never all of them together.

I can't wait for this! Mindy Cohn is criminally underused... she should have her own sitcom, the girl has BRILLIANT timing and delivery. she was in that short lived FOX show (Can't even remember the name now) with Antonio Sabato, but I don't think the character suited her.

OMG!!! She's the one who started that? I'm so appalled. I think that is one of the most uneducated, disgusting things you can do to a child. I hope someone douches her with hot sauce when she' a helpless old woman in the nursing home. and then sit down beside her while she's in pain and read from the Bible about Moses and the burning bush.

Wow, I knew that she was pro-spanking, someone on IMDb linked to an article she'd written about it years ago (a spank for every year old the child is) but I had no idea that she started the hot saucing thing. Did that come up on the infamous Dr. Phil ep? That book title is just sick, "creative" ways to discipline a child?? Sounds so sadistic. I would much rather have my butt smacked (shut up) than have burning hot sauce sprinkled on my tongue. That's terrible and reminds me of something Carrie or Sybil's mothers would do.

And Children's taste buds are very sensitive.... I have concerns about permanent desensitization occuring. I saw on youtube where that Alaskan mother's (who was on Dr. Phil) lawyer said that it was no big deal, you eat hot sauce on mexican food all the time..... blah blah blah, you don't eat it straight from the bottle! I'd like to take the top off the pepper shaker, and instruct HIM to put a spoonful on his tongue and hold it there. I was spanked as a child.... but it was also saved for when you did something BIG. What the hell happened to grounding? For me, several days with no TV was EXTREMELY effective. I would hope the child would spit the hot sauce right into the mother's eyes... that would teach her a lesson.

    • Above, I said "Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her." Now adding onto that thought, I would clarify that sometimes I think Vanessa fools around for fun in a positive way.    But other times I sense that she's actually unconsciously trying to demean herself as way of numbing some inner pain -- it's hard to explain what I mean.  Sort of like... sometimes people drink for fun. But other times, people drink  in a self-destructive way, in order to drown out some inner pain. So I think she needs therapy about all of that.
    • A lot of these episodes are available on YT. The rape storyline starts around February or March of 1979 and Roger's demise is sometime in March 1980. The stuff from before 1979 is close to non exisitent, unfortunately.
    • Maeve Kinkead was on from 1980-1988 (left in January); 1989-2000 (went recurring 1996-97); 2002 -For Josh /Reva's Wedding; 2005 (appearances in May and December) back regularly from Feb 2006-end Maureen Garrett was on from 1976-80; 1988-2006 (recurring from 2003 on); 2009 Michael Zaslow was on/off from 1971-1980 with breaks in between but usually made an appearance every year then again 1989-1997. There is a youtube commercial  Guiding Light in 1968

    • Holly's final big story was the Sebastian mess in late 2004.   Vanessa and Matt were promoted to regulars near the end and were heavily recurring prior to that starting around 2007/2008.
    • Keith has a softer presence, but it would have helped to see him be more aggressive or proactive in protecting them instead of standing around like a mannequin. A man the audience should be hoping and wishing gets back together with his wife. Nicole needs a new husband!
    • She needs to learn to be honest with her husband about her lusty interests because being sex positive only works if you're not cheating on your spouse.

    • Very disappointed in the writers in the way they are screwing with Nicole, Ted,  and Kat to make Leslie remain viable. So many holes everywhere.
    • Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling. Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!
