on February 1st, Jack will catch Erica & Caleb in an embrace.

Walt jokes that Jack is dumb but he's definitely slow. He says most people would have seen something was up with the two of them a long time before this.

Walt is not wild at the idea of a Jack & Erica split. He says if you look at any of the polls, people want them together but the writer's don't seem to come up with a story for them.

Walt says he's glad they haven't turned Jack & Caleb into archrivals, they don't have him and Mike bumping chests like they're 20 years old and which he says is not interesting and that he doesn't think he could remember how to do it

Walt says he just shot an episode where Caleb puts in a good word to the bar association and will get Jack's license reinstated. Walt says he's not sure if Caleb's doing it because he's a nice guy or out of guilt. He's going with guilty

Jackson sees Caleb and Erica in an embrace, not even a kiss. Jackson and Caleb respect each other and are friendly.

Where is the drama, where's the soapy good stuff?

I don't even hate DK and DS but they really need to wake up and realize that they are writing a soap and not a Brenda Hampton drama.

GO WALT :wub::wub::wub: Love an actor who knows, cares, and wants what his fan base wants. He is totally right on everything he said and I LOVE the comment about Pratt and what Logan should tell Frons  It's JERICA , baby! . Let that bore Cooney have his skank KWAK. They are a perfect fit. ;)

What tired old [[email protected]#$%^&*]. Just leave Jack and Erica alone, for [[email protected]#$%^&*]'s sake. Nouri and Caleb can work without her.

They have no chemistry. Watching SL/MN is snooze-inducing. He looks bored to tears and like he can't wait for his contract to be up. The only time I saw him show any charm or playfullness is in scenes with Opal and KWAK. I can't stomach that Miranda-napping loser so I saw go CAPAL!

Every time Caleb comes onto my screen I get disgusted, I cannot STAND this character anymore. Him & Asher both. I wish AMC would get rid of both of their useless asses & replace them with Tim Dillon & Sam Grey or something!

Go Walt...I love how candid he is. I hope he doesn't get shafted by the show/network for speaking out like this....I think he's totally right about Jack/Erica.

I love the chemistry between Jack & Krystal and between Caleb & Krystal, but Jack & Erica need to be happy for once. Erica days of whoring need to end! She has been with all the men on the show except Stuart, Jesse, Palmer, & Joe Martin! Give Opal a story I am tired of Kendall & Erica! Bianca needs a story and a love life.

    • I also wanted to say that my middle school years were spent in eastern Massachusetts, near Boston, where some of those towns are naturally gothic and a bit witchy (and not just the original Salem lol). I was part of a Catholic family and there were a big Irish Catholic presence where I grew up, but my mom was foreign (French), and so we weren't as closely embraced in that community where people had long generational ties to the area. So I got to observe a lot about how these communities hummed. There were cultures of silence and unspoken little scandals. The Catholic aspect always held an element of karma or superstition! And it was cold and icy winter conditions for about 4-5 months of the year. For these reasons, Days during Reilly's run resonated with me, and I felt like he understood the soul of a place like the one I lived in. His last name certainly made me wonder if he came from there. And given that he lived a somewhat-hermit-like existence (long winters do that to you) with a close friend, an ex-priest, I often wondered if he was writing from New England and somewhat immersed in that world.
    • Andy said on his radio show that Adriana is a friend because they didn't want to have too many housewives. That is stupid IMO because 7 would've been fine. He said she's in every episode and will seem full time and from the trailer she's giving more than some of the mojito holders. Just an odd, odd move. I also find all the Marysol to be odd since she's also a friend. Marysol also seems more interesting than she was before.    I was convinced it was going to be terrible based on the lack of promo, but the RHOC premiere was the best opening episode for any of the shows that premiered this year. I feel like most have a big hook to draw you in, but it takes weeks to get there as we saw with RHOBH and RHOSLC. With OC, it kicked off right away. They did everything right. They reintroduced Heather, gave us house porn and a proper update on her family and life. Then they got us all caught up on Emily and Gina and gradually introduced the newbies. This all led to whispers of a secret and they left us with a great cliffhanger! No "wait 10 episodes for the drama to start," they literally just gave it to us. I thought everybody brought it and I think RHOC is going to have a good season.
    • Couldn't have said it better myself @titan1978. Reilly's run during most of the first half of the 90s was Must Watch TV. I used to watch with friends and almost every episode (especially the Friday cliff-hangers) gave us goose bumps while watching, there was so much going on and they were so exciting. And I'm not talking cheap-thrills exciting, I'm talking Sami going from problem child to villainess, Marlena and John struggling with their attraction to each other (which FYI had been established for at least two years before the incident on John's private jet!). People's relationships with each other across the cast of characters were being fleshed out with care, hitting all the marks, never rushed, but you always felt there was momentum in these relationships and you didn't always know where they were going. Reilly was invested in this gothicky little town of Salem -- where most scenes seemed to take place after sundown (!!) -- and the denizens. He clearly loved writing for Marlena and her torment as she tried to do the right thing while staying honest with herself, but I never felt the other characters were shortchanged. And Reilly really painted a picture of a community, with all the age groups represented. I have such happy memories of Days during this time -- a golden age for soaps in general, IMO, because TPTB put in the effort and seemed to care about the stories and characters. Like on Days TPTB seemed caught up in the whirl and excitement of certain SLs the way the viewers did.
    • Love of Life Dr Brett (minister who married Vanessa and Paul Raven) Jack Davis 1954 You have him as marrying Van and Bruce, which may have been the case. Gloria Gloria Hamilton She was singer at Hal Craig and Meg's supper club.
    • Esme/Nik would be hilarious. The thought had never occurred to me, but I'm not against it. Anything would be more interesting than her pointlessly standing around in all of Spencer's scenes.
