Actually, its how they take so much time off (I think its like 12 weeks a year) and save money. They started it like two years ago.

This is clear, B&B has done this since 2004 or 2005. But producing 3 months in adavcne is really far ahead.

DAYS usually tapes around 2.5 months ahead but they have 3 vacation weeks (Memorial Day week, then 2 weeks around July 4th) coming up, so I think that's why they're taping 3 months ahead right now.

How much longer will Whitesell be in the DAYS credits? I wonder when we start to see Higley's own stuff.

I think today was Chris Dunn's last day listed in the AMC credits. He isn't in the credits for tomorrow.

On the sneak peek for tomorrow's AMC there's a Lucky Gold listed for writer, is this new?

Toups reported a while back that Lloyd "Lucky" Gold would be joining AMC, looks like his work as a BDW begins tomorrow.

So.......maybe soon we'll see Meg Bennett OUT and Elizabeth Korte OUT? GH had the most stable writing staff thanks to Guza.....this could get interesting if Garin or JFP bring in their writers.

Apparently Michele Val Jean's getting pummeled with Guza-hate on Twitter.

I liked Elizabeth Korte. I hope she doesn't leave GH.

What do you like about her?

Guza's departure and Wolf's appointment only means one thing: ABC is dramatically reducing costs for this last year that GH is on the air. ABC already knows that they are cancelling the series so they are saving money. This is what they did with AMC. Chuck Pratt was expensive; when he was let go and replaced with Kreizman/Swajeski, it was clear that ABC wasn't trying to save the show for the long term. The same is true in this situation. Wolf is going to shepherd the series to its conclusion and he's not nearly as expensive a contract as Guza. If GH had long term survival prospects, they would replace Guza with a Sri Rao or riskier new blood or other big name to try to reinvent the series for the next several years. I don't even care about GH; it has sucked under Guza for a long time. IT will be interesting to see if Bennett (Guza's wife) leaves the series as well.
