November 29, 201015 yr Member I guess I'll start a new thread this week. TC looks incredible. I dont remember her ever looking this good on ATWT. Edited November 29, 201015 yr by OLTL_fan
November 29, 201015 yr Member Its official, I like this Joey. Wasnt sure from hics pics at first but Im buying him in the role. Terri looks like Alexa Havins with her hair. She looks good. Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. She goes allthe way to London to see Joey and mentions that she ould attempt top go see her so while she was there. She finds out Joey isnt in town, she what does she do? Hightails it out of there and jumps on the first plane back to Llanview, all while disregarding her "visit" with her child. Great mothering skills Did Kristen Alderson dye her hair recently? Its looking extra blonde these days Speaking of hair, can Ford doe something about his? Its starting to remind me of River Edited November 29, 201015 yr by Cheap21
November 29, 201015 yr Member Cross-posting myself! Tom Degnan does has Joey's sweetness and caring. The question is does he have real power, strength and the ability to be a leading man? Don Jeffcoat did not, Nathan Fillion did. I think the older Chris McKenna would, based on what I've seen of his recent work. I thought I saw that in JK's reel. Joey needs to have some edge in order to survive in today's ABCD, otherwise he becomes a neutered, passive male a la what AMC did with Scott Chandler. This is because, unfortunately, the current ABC regime doesn't know how to handle soulful, artistic types like Joey, and instead defaults to writing them as pussies or prim hypocrites for other men to get one over on. So with a character such as this, there also must be an overt strength. Bob Krimmer's Andrew - Joey's mentor a couple years ago - had this as well back in the '90s, which is what kept Andrew from being sexless and boring in his early years. Because beneath his good intentions and moral certitude, there was also a lot of pent-up passion in Andrew, often for women he couldn't have. This kind of passion is what Joey needs. I guess we'll see if Degnan can do it. For me, the jury's out, though he does sell the basic elements of the character. I suspect TC is going to be slotted in as "new Kelly" if Frons has his way. Gina T better watch her ass. And now, another note - I love Clint giving Inez such hell. She could never be Kim. Edited November 29, 201015 yr by Vee

At the end of Thursday October 18th episode, Kelly & Kevin said they were getting Zane so they can have dinner but Zane wasnt even the reason she went there in the first place so either way, ur right.
November 29, 201015 yr Member And now, another note - I love Clint giving Inez such hell. She could never be Kim. was that supposed to be an insult? The last thing anyone should aspire to be like is some nasty bimbo stripper with no class and even less taste. Inez should consider herself lucky...lol
November 29, 201015 yr Member If I was sitting next to Kelly on a plane, I wouldve moved. LOL. As for their conversation, I liked it better when Bea Arthur and Elinor Donahue did it on The Golden Girls. I think Aubrey looks like a young Leslie Charleson. Clint, man you are just too much. It's still working for me though, it's like, "How low will Clint stoop next?" Could it be that it's working for some of us because we know who Clint is at heart? Didn't Barbara on ATWT have a similar sort of character transition? Joey and Viki's first scene was so incredibly sappy, ES was really laying it on thick. Too soon for me to get a good take on this Joey, but his energy is more BMH than NF, I hope he has enough *oomph* to carry a believable triangle. James in that stupid vest talking about, "It only hurts when I go deaf", oh geeze, they are just determined for us to care for these boys.
November 29, 201015 yr Member Loving Tom & Terri & That Kiss Was Really Good Love That Joey Is Still Pissed At Rex For Sleeping With His Then Wife Jen and Loved the remarks he made about him Joey and Viki were Great and He seemed to Gel Well With Natalie So Far A win Loved Terri as Aubrey, Great energy. aubreey & Kelly Could Be Friends If Joey was not In The Middle So I Doubt They will Be & Im Looking forward to it Nat Needs To stop Lying Loved Bo & Nora Nora Bo & Eddie Inez Actually Stood Up To clint Sappy Goes To James, Starr, Lang & Bobby although Loved Dani with Nate At His Apartment
November 29, 201015 yr Member Clint, man you are just too much. It's still working for me though, it's like, "How low will Clint stoop next?" Could it be that it's working for some of us because we know who Clint is at heart? Didn't Barbara on ATWT have a similar sort of character transition? Barbara generally pulled schemes which were within her reach -- Clint is sometimes on the verge of freezing the world. From the other thread: It's interesting because I feel that if [Joey did have any type of strong drive], he might be even more likely to go than if he doesn't, because he would be a threat to John/Todd/Rex. That's one of the reasons Scott Clifton went. OLTL and ABC Daytime these days tend to want men who are very weak and flaccid, even if they sometimes huff and puff on cue. If they are really trying to hype up Terri than why not cast her as Sarah instead of all the stuff with this relationship with Joey that will probably not go anywhere anyway. Love That Joey Is Still Pissed At Rex For Sleeping With His Then Wife Jen and Loved the remarks he made about him I'm a bit worried that they had Joey be negative about Rex already. Anyone who ever questions Rex for even a moment pays a price -- usually being fired from the show.
November 29, 201015 yr Member Didn't think I would but I like this NuJoey, his scenes with Viki and then Natalie/John were really good. It was great to finally see Viki smile about something good in her life, and I LOVED that Joey is protective of his mother and that he still doesn't like Rex. That could be very interesting if they play it up more. Still out on this Aubrey chick, maybe when I see her with someone else besides Kelly I might like her. I know that all this crap with Eddie is suppose to make me feel bad for the Ford brothers, but it just isn't happening. The only thing it makes me do is LOVE Clint even more with what he's doing to Inez and what he wants her to do. Bo and Charlie need to just start an, "I'm an idiot" club.
November 29, 201015 yr Member TC's a bit old to play Sarah. I was glad Joey remembered his hatred of Rex.
November 29, 201015 yr Member Don't get me wrong, I'm happy if anyone hates Rex, but I tend to see that as a sign the show has a target on that character's back, as Rex is supposed to be our hero.
