Fingers crossed that there will be a lot more 80's Y&R episodes on the way, (as well as early 90's)

Great scene between Brad and Jack, It is always nice to see Terry Lester playing him

I guess that woman is involved in the Faren storyline. as that Faren's realname was Michelle wasnt it?

That's right - you have a good memory.

I wish that episode where Faren does her Sweeney Sisters routine was still up.

I've actually already seen this particular episode on the old WOST website before. The crazy woman was the housekeeper for Evan and Faren who was obsessed with Evan. Michelle was Faren's real name.

If I recall right this is where Faren's husband Evan ends up dead after being murdered by the housekeeper.

It's too bad they got rid of Andy. Even now, with Steven Ford looking so different, I'd rather have seen him than any of the trash Maura West had to deal with as Diane.

Yeah i heard on the old WOST site there used to be 2 November 1987 episodes of Y&R. The fact that these episodes were uploaded is a good and bad thing. Good because i have never seen these episodes before but bad since he probably doesn't have anymore after those 2 :(

I'd been meaning to upload these in my increasingly desperate search for my own personal photos on Brenda Epperson...too many photo boxes!

I never knew of that TV Guide cover. Is that Brenda Dickson at the top next to David Hasslehoff or is it someone else?

I think Traci's going for a crotch-grab.

Thanks for sharing these with us. Great stuff. It's a shame Brenda didn't get more soap work after Y&R.

It is Brenda

Brenda Epperson had a small role on Passions in 2000, as Crystal the woman who was Eve's best friend and knew about her secret past with Julian, but she was only on for like 2 weeks.

Good news, the person who is uploading the 1987 episode said he has more 80's episodes, so we should see some good stuff hopefully :)

Who is that bad acting woman staring at the camera talking about what Michelle took from her?

The Sanderson's maid.

She was in love with Evan.

That was the woman Evan dumped?

What did you think of Evan?

Do you think it made sense to build a story with so many recurring/new characters around a newcomer (Faren)? Then they did the same with Cassandra a few years later, although they seemed to draw in more characters, like Victor.

Boring.

He pretty much only served to cause drama for Andy & Faren.

Nope.

Colleen Casey is a solid actress but not solid enough to carry a show.

Bill saw her as a Frannie Hughes type of heroine but it just didn't work.

Then they did the same with Cassandra a few years later, although they seemed to draw in more characters, like Victor.

Cassandra was beautiful, had personality to spare & had chemistry in all her pairings which helped Bill's sometimes problematic writing.

Faren was like watching paint dry.

The Sanderson's maid.

She was in love with Evan.

it should be noted that they did recast the maid with a prettier actress (as seen in this episode) - so Bill Bell must have changed story directions in between.

And I think Farren's daughter was played by Kay Alden's daughter?

IMO, Farren was boring but Colleen Casey had beuatiful singing voice and much more tolerable than Michael Damian.

Yes, Colleen Casey is QUITE the skilled jazz vocalist. Yr9190... I'd love to see more 80's episodes, I still hope and pray to see more episodes where Beth Maitland is singing. I got one episode from 1986 where she is makingher deubt at the torchlight club, but DAMN if it didn't start until the last note of her song! Someone was late starting the tape or something. The two BIG holy grails are her singing "The Rose" with the voice coach playing the piano... and her first onstage concert duet with Damian singing Anne Murray's "You Needed Me", where she was wearing this cobalt blue tiered dress.
